Chapter 2

“May I help you, miss?” asked the cashier.

“I would love that lovely chocolate cheesecake you have in the window,” Hannah said as she pulled out her checkbook, knowing that she had lots of money in her checking account to buy whatever she wanted due to her saving money at an early age, “and ten of the biggest pies and cakes you have in stock…I’m planning a BIG party”

“Okay, miss…” said the cashier, “Do you want us to deliver them to a location?”

“No,” Hannah said, knowingly that the only party was a party of one at her one floor condo, “I’ll take them since I have a car big enough to handle all of them.”

“Alright, miss, we’ll start loading right away,” the cashier replied as Hannah wrote a check to pay for what was going to be the beginning of a cure of loneliness that would never cease and a change that she will love forever.

With the help of the cashier and a couple of the bakers that was working in the back, Hannah got every single dessert she ordered in her black SUV and drove home to her, somewhat large one floor condo. One by one, Hannah got all of the desserts inside and into her kitchen. Standing back and looking at it all, she knew that eating them all at one would be a huge challenge that wouldn’t be easy to overcome. Then, Hannah remembered a commercial she saw on television while she was trying to sleep one night.

“Don’t worry cakes and pies, you’ll be eaten and be in my belly soon enough,” she said aloud, “I just have to pick up something to drink first.”

Hannah looked in her refrigerator and saw that she had a half gallon of whole milk, along with a couple of cans of root beer for her to drink. She grabbed her car keys again and took off in her SUV yet again, knowing what she had to buy. She first stopped at a fitness store called Max’s Muscle Planet, a fitness and nutrition store. As she parked her car to go into the store, she saw a thin and skinny guy carrying a giant jar of weight gain formula. She looked at the jar’s label for a few moments while he was putting it in his car to see that the label read “Max’s Weight Gain 10,000” in big red letters.

‘Weight Gain 10,000: that’s what I need in order to help me,’ she thought as she went into the store.

Hannah found lots of jars that said it, picked up two of them, and made her way to the register to pay for them.

“Hello, miss, can I offer you something to help you on your quest for bigger muscles?” the male cashier said as he scanned the jars.

“That depends on what it is, sir,” Hannah replied.

“Well, for no extra cost to you, I will give you these: Max’s Energy Replenisher Pills, for those days that you need that sudden boost of energy to get through the most tiring of tasks,” the cashier explained as he gave Hannah a bottle of the pills.

“Well, since it’s free, and I am in need of lots of energy for a while at least, I’ll give them a shot!” she exclaimed as she paid and was leaving the store, “Thanks for the pills, sir!”

Hannah put them in the car and headed to a grocery store near her condo and before she headed inside, she read aloud the instructions on one of the weight gain formula’s labels:

“Mix one serving together with whole milk and drink throughout the day. Small drinks are preferable and you can spread out over one to four days. Drink whenever you choose including 30 minutes before bedtime. I may need to go back and a few more of these jars, but since I’m here, I’ll get plenty of milk.”

Hannah, after purchasing six gallons and telling the cashier that she was making milkshakes for a giant party she was having, she went back to Max’s Muscle Planet and picked up four more giant jars of weight gain formula.

“Wow, miss! You must be stocking up on formula for your entire family,” the cashier said to her.

“I’m getting some for my cousins that love to work out so much,” she told the cashier, knowing that she was getting for herself.

“Well then, maybe your cousins will like these pills too!”

“I’m sure that they will, sir,” Hannah said, accepting the pills walking out with them and four more jars of the formula to her car.
