"What are you doing?" Red asked.

"I never seen myself look like this before, Im a water balloon." She pulled her shoulders back and breathed in as far as she could, held it for a few seconds and let it hang out again.

"Well, you're my nemesis, The Red Belly! You can only be defeated by salad and exercise."

"Oh no! The Red Belly has vanished into thin air." She paused. "Fat air."

Red took a step towards her. "You should not let down your guard around villainy." He relaxed his stomach.

Carla let out a yelp. "Red! What have you done?"

"After the movie." She said, yawning. "I want to see if they save the day."

"But, shit's going down now, Dr Julius Cruel has kidnapped the daughter."

Red looked at his watch. "Fine, we'll stay up, but I bet she'll kick his ass and escape."

"I think we make better superheroes."

"I thought we were enemies?"

She shook her head. "No, I think we teamed up now, we're the fat tastic four."

"There's two of us."

She shrugged. "The baddies don't need to know that."

Red stroked her hair. "So who's our enemy now?"

"I don't know. An evil politician who made everyone take compulsory gym memberships and taxes junk food so only the richest can afford it?"

"I don't think people would vote for that."

"People vote for stupid shit sometimes."

"Only if the other option on the ballot is much worse."

Carla narrowed her eyes at him a little. "Anyway, the point is it doesn't matter how it happened, it just did and they lock up cute little fatties and make them run on treadmills in boring white gyms."

"And we pretend to be skinny by day, to blend in, then at night we bust them out and take them to a sanctuary where doughnuts grow on trees."

"Yeah, we take off our corsets and eat pizza to gain our powers."

"And we bash down the doors with our bellies and spray enemies with a fattie o matic gun?"

"Now you get it! Then they have to join our resistance or be forced to take serious dieting advice."

Red laughed. "Sounds good, We'll write a comic sometime."

"Yeah and it'll sell millions because people hate gyms and love burgers."

They lay back in the sofa and watched the rest of the movie, it was as predictable as Red assumed.
