The secret enabler

chapter 2

'Whatever, I'm just going to eat what I want this week... we'll see if I manage to drain the card or not...' Jenna's thoughts continued as she ate her salad, her mom's words still ever-present in her mind Her mother's countless warnings about eating more greens, and how they'd make her feel better apparently hadn't gone wholly lost on the plump girl growing up.

As Jenna finished her salad and started on her last burger, she felt the undeniable food baby that had worked its way into her stomach. She felt her belly aching as she eyed the half-eaten burger and the few remaining fries. If it were up to her she would simply throw the food away, but she quickly remembered the "NO WASTE" warning, the only thing about the note that had been all capitalized. The warning spurred her on, she knew that if she took the food home she'd never be able to bring herself to eat a cold McDonald's burger or their reheated fries. The thought didn't even occur to Jenna that consciously she still was trying to maintain her neutrality toward the card... having not yet actively committed to draining the card and meeting the conditions, nevertheless her subconscious was pushing her to meet the requirements, to appease the conditions so that the sudden source of sustenance wouldn't slip through her fingers.

"Uhhh.... Mmm..." Jenna groaned and moaned quiet enough so that it was only barely audible to her. She pushed the final bite of the burger past her mouth and washed it down with a large gulp of diet coke, which had been her automatic pick in light of the massive order she had placed before filling her cup.

'Ooof... That was a lot!' Jenna thought to herself as she looked at the slight bulge in her stomach as it pushed against her shirt. 'I guess I'll have to order some to-go so that I hit the 20 dollar mark for today...' She thought to herself as she stood from her table and approached the counter. The same girl greeted her at the counter, a look of surprise flashing across her face as she noticed Jenna's newly slightly disheveled appearance, but also because the girl was back so soon after she had just ordered.

"Hi! How can I help you?" The girl repeated, same as before.

"Hi, yea, I'll take 3 cheeseburgers and an order of 20 nuggets to go please." Jenna said with a hint of shame in her voice.
"Sounds good! That'll be $9.25 please!" The girl responded, to which Jenna simply slid the card, receiving the same check mark and approved message.

'Alright, so that puts me just a bit above 20 dollars for today, I'm more than on track!' Jenna thought to herself as she walked home, mcdonalds bag in hand. 'Heck, at this rate $140 might not even be enough!' Jenna laughed at her own realization, thinking about how worried she had been earlier about achieving the task. 'As long as I finish these cheeseburgers and nuggets tonight, I'm golden!'

As Jenna approached her door she noticed another mysterious envelope tucked in the frame. 'Ah what the hell, again?!' Jenna thought as she grabbed the envelope, seeing the same handwriting as before on the front. She quickly tore it open, not caring about damaging the envelope now that she knew it's source wasn't of any official consequence or importance.

"No diet soda. Everything you consume with my money must have a caloric content of some sort, or you will be cut off." Jenna read the words, this time reading a slight annoyance in the tone of the words.

"What the hell? So... he was watching me?! Like the fuck?" Jenna said aloud as she read the paper. "Alright fuck it, i'm done, I can't do it, this is too weird!" Jenna said simply as she entered her apartment and tossed the envelope in her trash, along with the gift card that she pulled out of her pocket.

Jenna sat on her couch, thinking about the mysterious notes and card as she flipped through netflix shows, before settling on something she could absentmindedly enjoy while also thinking about the card.

'God, it's just so weird...' Jenna's thoughts continued as the TV begins playing 50 First Dates. 'Like, who the hell is this person that they just know exactly what I was drinking... no one was even watching me!' Jenna pictured the McDonald's in her mind, there had only been one or two other people in the place and one of them was definitely an old lady who didn't really seem like the type to be following her around and giving her money for food, save it was some weird grandmotherly instinct type stuff, which she doubted. 'That other guy didn't seem like he was watching me... and he left before I even got my food... So he doesn't seem like the type.' Jenna was suddenly laughing at the screen as some joke was delivered by Adam Sandler.

As Jenna's attention turned more toward the television and away from the evening's events she absentmindedly grabbed the bag of McDonald's that she had placed on the couch next to her. She unwrapped a cold burger and slowly ate it as she paid attention to the screen, grateful to have food available to snack on for the first time in months. Jenna watched a couple more movies before finally passing out on her couch, her McDonald's bag next to her empty, except for the wrappers that she had placed back in after eating their contents. She had undone her pants at some point, her small belly poking out, she had been lightly rubbing at the fullness in her tummy when she had passed out.

The next morning Jenna woke up when the sun hit her eyes, causing her eyelids to light up a bright red, snapping her out of her food-induced slumber. "Oh shit! What time is it!?" Jenna yelled as she scrambled to find her phone. "Oh my god noooo!" Jenna collapsed on her couch as she saw 10:33 at the top of the screen and about a dozen missed notifications from the fast food restaurant she worked at.

"Hello? Yea, Tammy, Look, I'm so Sorry... I... Yea I know... No... Yes... What?! Oh my god no! Please no!" Jenna lay there crying as she continued talking to her boss for a moment, before the phone call finally came to an end, leaving Jenna sobbing on the couch. She had been showing up a few minutes late for shifts here and there, and had received a number of warnings over the past months. Today had been the last straw, she had been scheduled to start work at 9, and having not shown up or called in within an hour she was automatically fired.

'What am I going to do....' Jenna thought as she continued sobbing, trying to collect herself enough to figure out what her options were. She'd get her last check of a few hundred dollars in a couple days, and after that have no cash flow whatsoever. She had next to no food in her kitchen and almost all of her next check would have to go toward bills if she wanted to have a place to live for the next month. 'Mom and dad aren't really in a position to help out either... ' Jenna thought as she remembered the countless fights she had had with her parents in the last months every time she had asked them to transfer a little money to her bank account when she had too much month left at the end of her money.

'I guess this weekend just turned into a job hunt...' Jenna thought as she wiped her tears away, reluctantly committing to ignore her body's aches and pains and find a job. Jenna hopped up from her couch, attempting to trick her body into actually believing she had any sort of enthusiasm about the day. She walked to the bathroom, feeling her aching knees and the growing hunger in her stomach. As she stood in the shower, letting the hot water run over her for longer than she actually needed to get clean, just so that she could stand there and block out her problems for a few minutes. It was now almost noon, and her binge had definitely been digested from the evening before. 'God this is gonna be rough...' Jenna thought as she clutched her chubby belly, feeling it vibrate beneath her fingers, growling for food. Jenna's thoughts turned to the McDonald's gift card that was sitting in her trash can, and the 120 or so dollars that were loaded on it. 'Ugh even if it is super creepy... I might as well use the card to buy some food for myself this week... besides it's not like I have another option...'

Once out of the shower Jenna inspected her body in her mirror. The top of her head was adorned with beautiful brownish blonde hair that had a natural curl to it, falling just around her shoulders. Her face was beautiful, soft features were the hallmark of her appearance, her round cheeks had a slight indication of her cheekbones, revealing her natural genetic predisposition to be a fuller woman, her face naturally needing to be full and soft. Her eyes were an intense green, wide and doe-like, they added to her cute appearance. Her lips like everything else were very soft and pouting. Her face was a thing of myth, the kind of features that have a unique beauty, her beauty in league with the women who inspired great writers throughout history to go to great lengths to attempt to describe their beauty. Her shoulders were soft and round, leading in to short chubby arms that were capped by small dainty hands. Her breasts were full and round, hanging in front of her, they didn't sag at all but they also didn't stick straight out. Under her breasts was a small belly, that just barely bulged over a little bit, which created a slightly noticeable muffin top when she wore jeans. Her hips were wide and soft, the skin smooth and pale, save the occasional light pink stretch marks that ran nearly horizontal from her hips toward her tummy. She rubbed at her soft tummy as it once again reminded her of its discontent at the lack of food, breaking her out of her trance.

Haha you are a saint for pointing that out to me, so embarrassed. It has been around 7 years since math played an active role in my life. All of those teachers were right. It came back to bite me haha. If there are any other glaring deficiencies feel free

probably later the girl figures out that $20 a day is only $140 per week. She needs to spend at least $28.58 per day to get to $200 in seven days
