Toby and I sat on my bed this time. I asked about his mom and he said she just left one day a few years ago. She didn't say when she'd be back or how long she would be gone. I knew how he felt; my dad did the same thing to me and my mom.

"I really do love you," he said. His large hands touched my face as we sat facing each other. He kissed me. I liked it so much.
