The maid (complete)

Chapter 4

The main course went off without a hitch; Glenda’s beef wellington was greeted by hearty appetites and soon empty plates were filling the kitchen sides.

“Amelia I need you to take the pudding through and for gods sake don’t drop it!” said Glenda eyeing the platter warily.

On top of the shining silver cake dish was Glenda’s infamous chocolate tart. So thick and creamy and delightfully chocolaty entire dining rooms had been known to fall silent as they tucked in.

Ever so carefully Amelia picked it up and proceeded to the dining room. The tart didn’t wobble an inch but little did Amelia know that was not what she should have been worried about. She delivered the tart with a flourish and quickly turned to leave the room; but as she turned her hips grazed against the side board causing it to wobble. This minor tremor caused one of the precious vases to move ever so slightly. In Amelia’s haste to straighten the vase she forgot about her sizable bosom, so instead of saving the highly valuable vase, she actually sent it flying across the room with the force of her breasts where it smashed into a thousand pieces across the floor.

The room was stunned to silence. Amelia turned to look at Richard. His face has turned a mottled red and massaging his temples. Amelia stood stock still waiting for the yelling to being. Richard just shook his head in despair.

In a quiet voice he said “That was 15th century valued at over £100’00 and now it is shattered beyond repair on my dinning room floor. Fetch Janet to come clear this up, I want you back here in half an hour to explain yourself”

His monotone voice gave no hint of emotion but everyone felt the mood shift, the party soon dissolved, barely half the tart was eaten.

Richard was stressed, he knew enough was enough. It was high time for Amelia to go. That vase was extremely expensive, priceless in fact but as there came a shy knock on the dinning room door Richard couldn’t help but remember the sound of her laughter ringing from the kitchens or her off key singing as she scrubbed the floor with the radio blasting.

Half an hour later Amelia was stood by the dining room door hyperventilating. She hadn’t stopped shaking since she had fled the room in tears. She was about to get sacked she knew it, but that wasn’t the worst of it, ‘oh God I’ve upset Richard horribly’.

‘Enter’ came Richard’s voice. As Amelia entered the room she saw nearly all the chairs had been cleared away. Only two remained, Richard was sat on the far side of the table, his long legs balanced on the table edge, his shiny black shoes tapping a nervous rhythm.

Barely looking at her Richard gestured to the other empty seat opposite him.

Sitting Amelia felt confused, he didn’t look angry, upset perhaps; he had that worn look on his face that usually meant he had had a bad day at the office. Deep in thought then, thinking about firing her?

Richard didn’t know what to do. Standing up he shrugged off his suit jacket, loosened his tie and started to walk around the table trailing his fingers as he went.

‘He’s being very quiet’ thought Amelia nibbling her bottom lip nervously. Why hadn’t the yelling started yet? Richard was gazing at her with a very deep look; he was just about to say something when suddenly he stopped. The sweet smell of warm chocolate had filled Richard’s nostrils. The tart…

‘It’s a shame the rest of the tart has to go to waste Amelia’ He suddenly announced ‘Finish it for me I hate to see good food go to waste’. As Richard slid the tart across the table Amelia retrieved a spoon from her piny pocket. The sight of it made Richard smile, a girl who’s always prepared.

The first spoonful was smooth, sweet and totally groan inducing. Amelia knew she should be acting with a bit more decorum considering she was about to get fired, but she couldn’t help but dive for a second spoonful, then a third. Each getting bigger and disappearing even faster.

Richard eyed this reaction with curiosity. Who knew watching such a curvy woman enjoy her food could be so arousing. He soon found himself stood behind her staring directly over her curvaceous shoulder to the vanishing tart.

Looking at Amelia from this new angle he couldn’t help but notice how thick and shiny her dark hair was; totally wasted in a bun. ‘This is Madness’ Richard thought as his fingers began to fumble with the ties holding it in place. Eventually it fell down into its natural ebony waves down the back of the seat.

Amelia relaxed as Richard’s strong fingers slowly combed through the mass of hair. She was on the final slice of tart now but was still savouring every bite. ‘Richard should get Glenda to make this more often’ thought Amelia as she bit through the perfect pastry.

‘Such a lot of hair!, how the heck did she get it all in that bun?’ puzzled Richard as he scooped it all to one side. Her pale neck curved down to the sexiest little crease as it met her collar bone. ‘Just one little kiss’ he thought as he lowered his mouth. The skin was silky smooth and the feel of Richard’s lips on her skin made Amelia groan in a way that had nothing to do with the food. It was as if Richard had set her skin on fire, tingles ran up and down her spine as his lips slowly moved up her neck. Shivery little kisses and delicious nips that made Amelia shudder with lust.

As she finished her final spoonful she felt Richard’s breath on her ear. She had to ask now before she lost all her senses. ‘Sir am I getting fired?’ her only answer was the probing of a warm tongue tracing the curve of her earlobe.

‘Forget about the vase’ whispered Richard’s voice a moment later ‘It’s only a vase’

Amelia couldn’t manage a response as he began to nibble along her ears causing her to squirm in her seat as he continued to turn her on to the point she thought she might melt; his hands roaming to new places. The last thing she heard that made any sense was Richard’s voice in her ear breathing heavily ‘Now turn around and kiss me’.

The next day Richard came down the stairs he heard the familiar off key singing that could only be one person. Peering around the dining room door he saw Amelia bent over cleaning the enormous table. He couldn’t help but take her all in, the smooth curve of her thighs, the soft curls of hair escaping her bun, the cadence of her voice as she sang. Richard could also hear Glenda yelling for her from the kitchen, but the girl seemed blissfully unaware.

‘It’s about time there was a lady of this house’ thought Richard as he carefully backed out the room leaving her undisturbed. But damn he was going to miss that uniform.
