Chapter 14

Gina just took a deep breath, her hands massaging her bulging midriff. She already felt overstuffed, like a hog being fattened. The food just kept coming and coming and coming . . .

"Congratulations Browns, you're the Super Bowl champions!" Rick shouted.

The exclamation roused Michael and Gina from their stupor. They blinked owlishly and looked around. If they were more awake, they would have seen that every other couple looked significantly rounder in the midsection. As it was, their attention was captured by their own shockingly immense guts.

"Woof," Michael grunted, trying and failing to move the recliner to a sitting position.

Gina managed to raise her head up all of two inches before dropping it with a groan. Movement was simply out of the question.

"So, can I get you guys anything else to eat?" Stacey asked.

Michael and Gina just looked at her, panicked expressions crossing their faces. The other couples all just laughed out loud. They helped move the pair of recliners to a sitting position, then the four men assisted Michael and Gina in getting to their feet.

After saying their goodbyes, they waddled off to the car, more stuffed than ever before. Before going to bed that night, they managed to climb onto the scales.

"So, how heavy am I now?" Michael asked.

Standing naked, his immense belly bulging out in front of him, he looked like something out of Gina's wildest fantasies.

"307," she told him with a grin. "How does it feel to be over 300 pounds?"

"Why don't you tell me, Ms. 301?" he replied.

"How about we go to bed," Gina suggested. "You can feel my 300 if I can feel yours."

Michael laughed richly. "Sounds good to me. So, did winning this bet turn out to be everything you hoped?"

Gina put her hands on his face as they stood belly-to-belly.

"Oh baby, it's so, so much more. Thank you for making me the luckiest wife in the world."

"Heck, if I knew this is what you really wanted, I would have made sure to lose a bet to you years ago. That was quite an incredible journey."

Gina's smile turned wicked. "Oh, and what makes you think I'm done with you yet?"

Their joyous laughter bounced off the bedroom walls as they climbed into bed together, unable to contain themselves any longer.
