Chapter 11 - the finish line

It was coming up to their third anniversary and Jason had been preparing himself for the local triathlon, training at the gym for weeks on end.

The sun was beating down and everyone in the race seemed baked and exhausted as they neared the finish line. They were just over half a mile away when Jason saw her; his huge, overfed wife, dressed in tight hot pants and a very short, pink crop top. He could see her massive breasts behind her even larger, bulbous belly, drooping over the waistband of the hot pants. Her beautiful, fat breasts were stretching under her arms and into her delicious back fat. But, amusingly, her ginormous ass looked almost firm in the tightness of the fabric she was wearing, stretching the material, making her ass look like an impenetrable wall of lard. She carried a burger in one hand a massive soda in the other. Her skin glistened with sweat from the hot day, meaning that, despite the rest of the crowd, Heather had lots of space around her where the other people refused to go near her.

Suddenly, Jason had a spark of energy, surging forwards. He didn't know where it had come from, but he felt, for that last stretch, like he was starting the race all over again, fresh and re-energised. The crowd cheered, but it hardly seemed like Heather had even noticed. She was too busy inhaling her massive burger.

Jason could practically taste the grease on her lips as he accelerated forwards. He passed exhausted men and women, crossing the line before any other non-professional athlete. The crowd cheered and disappointed front runners scowled at him for taking their victory at the last minute.

A medal was thrust around his neck and a local news camera circled him before racing off to capture more exhausted people as they crossed the line. Now a photographer came in front to take his picture. He couldn't believe the fuss they were all making! Exhausted, he looked closely at the photographer. He knew that guy from somewhere. Was he the same photographer from their wedding three years ago? he pondered.

"Hey, Jason isn't it?" the photographer asked, recognising him.

"Yeah!" Jason responded, pleased that his instinct had been right.

"Big smile please Jason," the photographer asked, crouching down to get a good angle.

"Can I get my wife in the shot as well?" Jason asked hurriedly, still trying to catch his breath. Heather had just noticed him from the crowds and was waving excitedly. The burger in her hand had somehow disappeared.

The guy nodded and Jason beckoned Heather over, keeping a keen eye on the photographer's face. His jaw dropped as the hulking fatty walked over and wrapped her arm around the skinny waist of her athletic husband, dwarfing him.

"Uh... smile, I guess..." he ordered, confused. It would turn out to be Heather and Jason's favourite picture of them both.

So far at least.
