chapter 4

"Uhhh..." Emily slowly awoke to the feeling of nausea and a swollen stomach. "What's going on?" She sat up in her bed, fumbled around and found a soft terrycloth robe. It felt soft and that was exactly what she needed right then. She took off her formerly nice gown from the night before so that she was just in her underwear and bra. Turning she caught a view of herself in a small mirror on the back of her closed door. "I am here for another four months. If I keep eating like that they won't be able to get me out of the cabin." She threw the robe on and went to tie the sash around her waist and found it a little snug. "I'll have to ask Ryan if they have a bigger size." Emily gulped a bit as she tried to remember last night, Ryan's intense focus on her, catching her when she fell... "Come to think of it was it encouragement to try the deserts?"

Emily clutched her stomach as she reached for the door. "Calm down you." She felt hungry and just a little sick. She felt the ship rock slightly below her. As she turned the handle she noticed a bit of laughter on the other side.
"About time you woke up there sleeping beauty." Cassi said mockingly. "Come on Ryan brought us breakfast."
Cassi and Christina were sitting in the hot tub with a tray of small desserts next to them. Christina was wearing a moderate 2 piece bikini covered in polka dots. Emily knew there was a joke there, but it was just too difficult to focus. Cassi on the other hand appeared to be wearing just underwear and no top.
"Come on in, the water is fine, plus its fun when the ship bucks."
"Weee." Christina let go of the side of the tub as the ship gave a slight motion with the surrounding sea. She slid from one side of the hot tub to the other.
"Christina are you already drunk?" Emily asked with eyebrow raised.
"What its just a bit of Irish coffee, want some?"
"Maybe, move aside." Emily took off her robe and climbed into the hot tub with her friends. She closed her eyes as she entered the warm water. She entered slowly at first and settled up to her shoulders quickly. She could feel the motion of the waves outside the ship moving her from side to side. She smiled, relaxing and finally opened her eyes.
"Hey honey, not to mean but you look a little bloated today." Christina tried to say with as much delicacy as possible.
"Excuse me?" Emily did not feel it was very delicate.
"She is saying you ate to much last night." Cassi delivered as bluntly as ever.
"Oh, please you guys ate just as much as I did. Cassi you look a bit swelled up too."
"Hey, I don't mind, I figured that was the point. Its this skinny bitch that seems to have a problem with it." Cassi squeezed Christina's side as she called her skinny. All throughout their friendship Emily and Cassi had been larger and had given Christina some light jokes about it. "Although, is that a bit of swell on you too." It was slight, but Cassi had managed to pinch a bit of swollen flesh on Christina's belly that hadn't been there before.
"Hey, cut it out. It's just a bit, plus the food and the drinks were really good."
"Speaking of which," Emily said as she stood. She bent over her friends and reached to the tray of goodies just beyond. "Don't mind if I do."
"Hey, you are going to crush me." Christina held out her hands to lift Emily off of her.
"Whats the matter can't handle a little extra weight?" Cassie joined in and together they pushed Christina down into the hot tub.
She gasped as she cam back above the water. "No fair, if I had a little more meat on me I could handle you two no problem."
Cassi grabbed a strawberry and cream cheese Danish and stuffed it in her mouth. "Well then get on it then."
Emily was still bent over picking out a danish when she found a blueberry and cream cheese one. She loved blueberry. Of all things it was her favorite. Growing up her grandparents had a small farm in Maine and she would visit every summer and pick blueberries. Her grandmother could then cook up so many delicious dished with them. She could never resist blueberry. She put the Danish in her mouth and took a big bite. The blueberry filling as tart and it mixed so well with the cream cheese and icing.
"Mmmmm."

From behind her she heard the cabin door close. She stood upright slowly and looked over her shoulder.
"Good morning Emily, good to see you are up." Ryan had walked in to quite the view.
Emily shot back down into the water. Looking down she realized her underwear was a bit see through and boy he must have seen through it.
"I suppose I should knock. I'm glad you girls are enjoying yourselves. We don't have much planned today. We are still in the North Atlantic so it is quite chilly on deck and a little too rough for any photo ops so we can just do some social media posts later. "If we do photos I expect you should be fully clothed." He gave Cassi a not so subtle look. "I am just going to upload a couple photos from yesterday, and lunch will be open in about an hour if you want to head out for a bit." Ryan walked to his room and the girls all sat quietly until he was gone.
"Mmm, I wonder what lunch will be like?" Christina asked aloud.
"Hopefully not as decadent as dinner was. I could use just a little break." Emily said with Danish still in hand.
"Whatever," Cassi said standing up with her large breasts on display.
"Show off." Christina said sinking lower in the hot tub.
"Don't you know it," Cassi replied. "Speaking of which I have just the top to do so."
The girls climbed out of the hot tub and wrapped up in their robes. Emily headed back to her room and climbed in the tiny shower at the end of it. She stripped off her wet underwear and bra and turned the water on. She let it run over her as she lathered up. She rubbed her soft skin slowing as her hands moved over her belly. If she didn't watch it she would get huge here. "Wait did he just suggest lunch too. It's like he wants us to eat. But why?"
