chapter 8

The management at Tom's workplace were getting increasingly comcerned. He had ignored all requests to go to staff health and he was continuing to put even more weight on. They could see him waddle his way to the toilet. They saw him return sweaty and breathless with something else to eat in his hand from the snack machine. No doubt profits from the snack machine had soared recently from Tom's contributions, but that was not the point. He was not a good advert for the company. Often he looked like he was about to burst out of his clothes and he was always eating. His gluttony showed in the food stains on his tight shirt. Several documents that passed through his hands had chocolate fingerprints on them.
They had no choice. They told him he had to change. He had to seek help, or he would have to leave. He had one month before he would be out of a job.
Even the threat of losing his job did not make Tom change. He didn't care what they thought. He was worried about their finances though if he finished work.
Sylvia told him not to worry. She had everything in hand. They would manage. She would make sure they did!

So a month later, Tom left work, never to return.

Sylvia took some pictures of him that weekend. Pictures of him bursting out of his clothing, pictures of his great big gut, pictures of him with his stomach hanging out of the bottom of his tee shirt while he consumed six cream cakes.
She posted them online and got an enthusiastic response.
Tom's job now was to sit around all day and do nothing but watch the telly and eat to gain even more weight. She would take more pictures and post them online, showing his progress.
Tom took on the role enthusiastically. When he woke up in the morning, it was a struggle to get up, washed and dressed, but once he was installed in his place in front of the telly he was settled for the day. By this time he was ravenous! Sylvia made sure he had a good breakfast before she left. Indeed, he had a large weight gain shake to drink, made up with cream. He had a huge bowl of sugary cereal, with cream to eat, followed by a full English breakfast consisting of six fat sausages, a whole pack of bacon, six hash browns, half a dozen fried eggs, a very large portion of fried mushrooms, fried tomatoes, black pudding, six pieces of fried bread and a tin of baked beans. After that was a dinner plate of toast, smothered in jam.
He was not allowed tea to drink with his food anymore. It was too low in calories. She left him several large two litre bottles of standard coke, full of sugar. He could drink as much of that as he liked!
Sylvia arrived home, to find him fast asleep in his chair, surrounded by several empty plates and empty wrappers that he had not bothered pick up. As he snored, his tee shirt had risen up, showing off his swollen and distended belly. His tee shirt showed evidence of his eating efforts that day.
She took more picture of him to post online, she could barely contain herself she was so aroused at the sight of her gluttonous husband, but she was sure he could do more.
