Chapter 3 - pizza

Hannah was busy fussing over Daryl as he continued to gorge himself on the fresh pizza now it had arrived; fetching him beers and sauces as he requested. Jack however, was staring hard at Katie as she tried to make her way through the massive meat-feast and extra cheese pizza she had been ordered; nodding for her to continue each time she looked at him or took a pause.

"Have you got any of your pizza left over for Daryl?" Hannah asked as Daryl was nearing the end of his pizza; his belly larger and more bloated than any of them had ever seen before.

Katie always kept at least half of her meal for Daryl to finish off; but tonight, Jack was watching. "No..." she mumbled, looking at Jack who nodded for her to continue. "I think I'm going to finish this myself," she announced.

Hannah looked a little thrown. "Oh!" she squeaked, a little frustrated and giving Katie a dirty look. Then she turned to Daryl and fussed over him again. "Hey, you know what honey? I have some delicious new cookies in my room. Do you want to come try some?" she smiled at her overweight boyfriend; her hand firmly on his chubby belly as she spoke.

"Sure," Daryl nodded, assuming 'cookies' was her code for 'sex', standing up with a little grunt, caused by the effort of lifting his overfed body upright.

Even with Jack next to her, Katie smiled. Daryl may think he was heading back to get lucky, but Katie was certain that Hannah was going to make damn sure that her fatso ate those cookies first.

Jack saw Katie's little grin looking up at his overfed and pampered brother being fussed over so much. He raised an eyebrow and looked unimpressed by Katie's delight, causing her to divert her eyes away from Daryl and back to her pizza.

A minute later, Katie threw down her pizza as Hannah and Daryl retreated for the night, leaving her with Jack alone in her room. "What the hell was that all about?" she asked Jack crossly. Her stomach was aching from eating so much of the huge pizza and downing multiple cups of the soda Jack had consistently been pouring for her all evening.

"Did you enjoy the show?" Jack asked harshly, referencing the gluttonous, pig-like display his brother had just performed.

Katie couldn't answer. She couldn't deny that she'd got a kick out of watching Daryl eat so much.

Jack simply smiled. "Eat," he demanded. "Or do you want me to ruin your best friend's relationship?" he asked, picking up the slice of pizza Katie had discarded and holding it to her face. "If it's good enough for my brother to make a pig of himself, it's good enough for you..." he smiled, pressing the pizza into Katie mouth. "Poor sucker just gorged himself for you both and he didn't even realise it!" Jack laughed, knowing the leverage he had on Katie. "Now, Open wide," he insisted, suddenly becoming more serious.

Katie thought about her options, realising that there were only two slices of the pizza left anyway. She opened her mouth and chewed, wondering how best to deal with these types of situations in the future. If she didn't come up with a solution, Jack would be able to blackmail her into doing whatever he wanted. But what did he want out of all this anyway?
