chapter 17

Ava was confused. Brady hadn't had sex with Laura in months. How could she be pregnant? And how did he know before Ava? She had been here all day with Laura. Brady said "It just started as fattening her up a little. She was just so irresistable and so pear shaped. Her ass was perfect." Ava smiled and said she remembered how beautiful Laura was as she fattened. Brady looked somber as said he wasn't talking about Laura. Ava gulped.

Brady confessed that he had been fattening up and sleeping with a girl he met at the gym. He thought she was on the pill but apparently she wasn't and now she was pregnant. Ava didn't know what to say. She asked what he was going to do. Brady put his hands on his head. He had no idea. He had made Laura the huge person who was laying in that bed. He couldn't bear the thought of telling her what had happened. Or even worse of leaving her.

Ava said he had to tell her. She deserved that much. Brady decided to order from Laura's favorite restaurant and tell her after dinner. No sense ruining her dinner. Ava was really angry with Brady. Hadn't he had enough with fattening her after he stopped with Laura? Maybe if she'd have let him sleep with her, he wouldn't have needed the other girl.

Laura didn't take the news well. She was crying in hysterics. She shouted at Brady for making her so fat that she can hardly get out of bed. She yelled that she was sorry she didn't get pregnant but he didn't have to cheat. She just kept crying and she asked Ava to bring her a drink. She really needed one.

Brady decided he needed to be there for his baby and Laura couldn't forgive him. For the 3 months after finding out about his affair, she tried to forgive him and he tried to be a better husband, even having sex with her when she asked. It wasn't working. Laura was hardly eating but she was making up for it with booze. She still managed to work somehow but as soon as the day's tasks were done, she was back to the booze. 4 months after finding out that Brady was unfaithful, she told him she wanted a divorce. Brady was shocked. How would Laura live without him? He was going to have a kid in 3 months and he really needed to figure out his life.

Ava and Laura were able to afford the apartment without Brady. Both of them had done very well with work so they decided he should move out. Brady went to live with Missi. That was his baby mama. Laura still didn't find joy in food anymore so she had been losing weight for 4 months. She was still enormous but she knew she had lost some. Ava did the opposite and was stress eating. She put on a few pounds.

Two months after Brady moved out, Laura had a terrible bout of the flu. She couldn't keep anything down. Ava insisted that she go to a clinic or her doctor. She helped Laura get dressed and into her wheel chair. They went to the clinic down the street. Laura had been getting out of bed more and walking around the apartment but she still needed the wheel chair to go very far.

Laura had to get on the scale. She was back down to 415 pounds. She wasn't sure what she weighed 6 months ago at her heaviest but she knew it was probably in the neighborhood of 500 pounds. Ava stayed in the room with her. Laura looked over at her and thought about how much her life had changed. She wasn't even 30 yet and she'd already been divorced. She noticed for the first time how much Ava had gained and she thought she looked good with some weight on her.

The doctor came back and said he had found the cause of her sickness. It wasn't a virus. She was pregnant. Laura almost passed out. She thought she could have a clean break from Brady but apparently his attempts at make up sex had impregnated her. The doctor asked if she was ok and Laura stammered that she and her husband were divorcing.

Laura didn't know what to do. I'm driving home she asked Ava if maybe she should not keep the baby and shouldn't even tell Brady about the pregnancy. Ava took a deep sigh and said "OR, you and I can raise this baby together. We can get married if you want and Brady can be involved with the baby's life if you want. You know I've loved you for 10 years and I would love to be married to you and raise a child together.Think about it. You don't have to do anything right now except work on stopping drinking." Laura just sighed and said Oh my God.

Laura and Ava had several in depth talks about what it would be like for them to raise the baby together. Laura really struggled to stop drinking. She had numbed herself with alcohol since she was 19. Laura and Brady's divorce was final a month later and she heard through the work gossip that Brady and Missi had their baby. She still wasn't sure she wanted to tell Brady about the baby but she had accepted Ava's proposal to get married. They decided on a civil ceremony at the beginning of September. Her baby was due in early January so she still had time to decide on what to tell Brady.

Laura had rebuilt communication with her family and they were happy to hear about the baby and that Ava and Laura would be married. Laura's mom said they may want to consider moving closer to either of their families to help with the baby. Laura was considering it. Unfortunately Ava's parents didn't take the news well of their upcoming marriage and had stopped talking to her.

Ava and Laura were married at the courthouse on September 2. Laura had successfully stopped drinking and had been eating less sugar. She was still huge. A size 32-34 to be exact but she was able to walk with her cane again. She and Ava could see that she was showing now and she was past the first trimester nausea. Strangers would just think she was fat but they knew it was the start of her baby belly.

Around November, Laura decided she should tell Brady. She asked him to meet her at a local coffee shop. Ava offered to go along but Laura said no. She had to do it herself. Laura was looking good. She'd continued to eat well and lose some weight. She had backed off on her steroids and her face was a little less puffy. Of course she was short and weighed 380 pounds so she wasn't small.

She spotted Brady across the place. He had ballooned. How had he gotten so fat that quickly? He saw her and waived. He looked down at her pregnant belly as she approached. He had heard that she and Ava married but he didn't expect a pregnancy. She caught him staring at her belly. It was magnificent afterall. She patted it with her wedding ring hand and said she had some news.

She told Brady that it was his baby and he didn't have to be involved if he didn't want to. She and Ava were willing to raise the baby without him if that's what he wanted. He was silent. He sat back revealing how much belly was hiding behind the table. He was so big! He told Laura he wasn't doing well. He and Missi were fighting all the time and she was so lazy, he had to do everything for their son. She was quiet and listened. He said he would like to be involved. At least have some visits and be there for special occasions. He wanted to be in the baby's life but he just couldn't commit to more right now. She patted his hand and said she understood. She stood up carefully, said they would talk soon and turned her big belly toward the door. He watched as her huge round ass walked away. He just thought that he was an idiot.

Laura and Ava prepared for the birth of their daughter. Laura had continued to lose weight as the baby grew. The doctor said that was the best thing for someone her size. Her belly grew firmer and round. She looked about to pop and still had a month to go. Laura would take maternity leave from her company so that she could focus on the baby. They were so happy.

Laura took maternity photos in December. She looked fat and beautiful. There was one that was her favorite. Her chubby wife Ava was holding on to her big belly with her and gazing into her eyes with a smile. That photo showed their love and showed how loved this baby would be. They were going to be the parents and Brady would be a part but not a huge part of this family.

Laura's parents flew in for Christmas. They would be there Laura's scheduled C- section on December 30. Laura was moving slow these days. Her belly was huge and threw her off balance. She was happy to have her parents there with them. They had thought about moving into a different apartment but this one was perfect for them. The baby had Ava's old room and the two of them shared the master bedroom. They had splurged on a new king bed so not much else fit in their room.

Laura looked good. She had been walking as much as possible. She was still fat and probably always would be but she felt like she could take care of Ava and the baby now. Ava was so very happy. Laura was healthy and they were going to have a baby. She always wanted to be a mom.

On the day before her baby would be born, Laura's mom treated her and Ava to a girls day. Really it was just brunch and a manicure. As they walked slowly down the street in front of the restaurant, Laura couldn't believe it. Brady, Missi and the baby were coming toward them. Brady looked awful. He was bloated and tired. Missi looked like a strawberrry blond version of Laura. Maybe a little taller. Brady definitely had a type!

Brady did a double take at the sight of the beautiful Laura. Her face had thinned more and her belly was very huge. She looked gorgeous. He again thought what an idiot he was. They created each other and kept walking.
