Losing control

chapter 9

Lucy would wake up on a weekday morning, with a hazy head. She could not remember what had happened the day before. She would feel a grumble in her stomach, reminding her that she was hungry.
Paul was on hand to place a milk shake in her hand. Mmmmmm! She could not remember drinking anything like it before, even though she'd comsumed one only yesterday. It was so creamy, so sweet, so tasty!
Paul gave her 500ml of the stuff to drink before she got ready for the day ahead.
Thar was quite a lot, she could remember thinking. She could feel it sloshing about inside her as she walked across the bedroom floor.
By the time she had washed and dressed she had already forgotten about the shake and was starting to feel hungry. Yes! She was ready for breakfast.
Breakfast was already ready for her. A large full English fry up, with bacon, sausage, egg, beans, black pudding, white pudding, fried bread, mushrooms, tomatoes and hash browns washed down with overly sweetened tea.
On her way to work, her belly felt full and uncomfortably bloated. However, she had a small shopping mall to pass through to get to work. The doughnuts looked good! She'd buy half a dozen to share around the office. Her colleagues were out of luck. Every single one was eaten by the time she established herself at her desk.
She did not want the doughnut shop assistants to think she was greedy, so on alternate days, she visited the cookie shop and bought a large bag of those instead.
Was it any wonder she felt the need to loosen the waistband of her skirt when she sat down.
She would feel hungry again by mid morning. She would go to the canteen and buy half a dozen scones of varying flavours. She would say they were for her whole department, but they were all for herself! Most of them were warm, straight out of the oven, crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, with a thick layer of butter. Some were cool, but had one thick layer of jam and another thick layer of clotted cream in the middle.
Mid afternoon was another low point. She craved something sweet. One chocolate bar from the vending machine was not enough. She visited the canteen again and buy half a dozen cream cakes 'for her department'. They were all gone by the sat down at her desk.

When she got home, Paul could see if she had been a good girl. Not only would her belly be nicely rounded and her clothes far too tight, but he could see a splodge of dropped jam on her blouse.
He would greet her when she came in with a kiss on the cheek and another shake. Dinner would be ready shortly, but she must be tired after working so hard all day. She must be ready for a lie down.
Indeed she was! She had not realised how tired she was.
