chapter 9: working hard

Over the next couple of days the twins worked to their own personal programs, Lexi's being the antithesis of Alice's they only saw each other in the small space in between shifts and when they were working on similar shifts lunch breaks were spent seperatly with Lexi eating at Big John's and Alice going back to the apartment to make a salad. Before they both knew it five days had passed and it was the weekend. Lexi looked up at her alarm clock. 11:36 she rolled over and the pressure of her tight belly pressed against the bed "uhhhh" she pulled the comforter off herself exposing her midrift. After 6 days of Heather's regeme Lexi had started showing some slight signs of change. She hadn't put on any real weight but her once toned belly had been streached and a thin layer of fat was starting to hide her 6 packs definition. She had agreed to meet at Heather's House. Heather agreed to being Lexi's coach as long as she could pick up some food for the weekly get together. She got dressed without taking a shower. She left her room and spotted Alice eating a bowl of oatmeal watching a nutrition video on her phone. Alice had already lost enough weight to be able to wear alot of her old clothes and she was wearing a pair of workout leggings and a tank top. The top was clung tight to her belly and Lexi could clearly see that her sister was quickly disappearing. The once large hanging gut was now just a flabby stomach. Her face was looking more gaunt and her once average chest was reduced to almost nothing with a sports bra on. "are you going to the gym this morning" Lexi asked "ye, well I know, it's not on the program but I have made a new friend in the gym, she is really good at pushing me and I agreed to do one of her work outs, and Saturday is my only free day so.... " Lexi smiled "it's good to see that you are really invested in this, I'm going out but should be back after lunch". With that she walked over to the fridge. The fridge was heavily stocked with diffrent food, from apple pie to hotdogs, she was impressed that her sister had kept to her diet with the constant acsess to these delicious foods. The only thing that kept Alice on the straight and narrow was her jealousy for Lexi and the thought that she could look like the bikini shoot photo that was stowed away in her draws.

Lexi grabbed some stale donuts that were left on the side after looking for food that could be considered to be breakfast and made her way out. By the time she had gotten to the bottom of the stairs she was licking the frosting off her fingers, 3 donuts in under a minutes would a couple of weeks ago be a personal achiement, but now she did not even realise she was done until she got out of the building.
