Chapter 2 - as much as we can

"Let's make a bet." Alison smiled at the group,
"Whoever eats the most plates--and I mean FULL plates-- gets five thousand dollars."
"What the fuck?" lilah dropped her fork.
"Where did you get five thousand dollars?? To throw away?!"
"It's not throwing it away." Bryan stepped in.
"It's... an investment."
"What kind of investment?" Lilah noticed Eric roll his eyes.
"Oh lord, are you really trying to pull her into this?"
Alison shot him a look.
"She clearly likes eating."
Bryan interrupted her,
"Listen, we film these videos and sell them online. We're just going to record ourselves eating as much as we can and whoever wins, wins part of the profits of the video-- we'll give it to you in $5000 cash, upfront."
Eric turned to Lilah,
"I do it all the time. It's how I pay for my apartment and car."
Lilah had always wondered how Eric had such nice things and so much free time. She'd figured he was a trust-fund kid, but now she understood.
"Okay, I'm in." She didn't know what made her say it, but she did. And she was excited. The tickle between her legs returned.
Eric had already finished his second plate and was heading back to the buffet line.
"Better keep up!" He called to the table, as Lilah shoveled the last of her food into her mouth.
Alison and Bryan watched her as she made her way to the buffet line behind Eric.
"How do you think she'll do?" Alison looked into Bryan's eyes the same way she'd looked into Lilah's eyes when she was wanting her to say yes to eating until she couldn't eat anymore.
"I think she's going to do really well."

Lilah and Eric came back to the table. Eric let out a loud belch as he sat down and patted his belly. Alison set up a camera on the table.
"We'll be right back," Alison stood up and Bryan followed her to the buffet line.
For an hour the camera on be table recorded the four eating, standing, belching, walking to the buffet line, placing loaded plates in front of themselves and pushing empty ones to the side. It was Bryan who broke the silence.
