I sold my soul to devil burger

Chapter 2 - making a deal with a demon named d ii

There was a long awkward silent pause as simply Wu stared up at the man.

".....Wait, just...let me get this straight. You're a wealthy demon, from hell, that wants to open your very own fast food joint?"

"Precisely. Very simple, and before you assume anything stereotypical about us demons and I cannot stress this enough, we have no obligation to plunge the world into chaos. Frankly you all have done that to yourselves in no time flat. Speaking of flat...what is up with your human society as of recently? Why are men being attracted to woman who are so....so...small? Body type wise, not age of course....although we do have a couple of damned souls who are there for a reason I suppose."

Wu groans aloud not wanting to think too much about that specific topic but otherwise was surprisingly very relieved to find someone who actually agreed with his moral plight!...Even if that person is a literal demon from hell.

"Actually, I even did an entire paper for one of my classes on why women with bigger bodies were a key trait and major dictating factor in human survival in the distant past. They provided much needed warmth during cold seasons, proved to have greater lifespans, all around far superior fertility and healthy children..."

Wu's eyes started to grow wide through his thick bangs spilling out his heart over his love and the supporting research of why curvy women are the true crown jewels of human society only to realize he was drooling and panting heavily, to which D's sharp toothed grin couldn't possibly be any wider.

"I knew it! I was right to choose you! Such passion, such gusto! Yes, you Mr.Wu must be the face this company needs! The embodiment of my burning endeavor, I can feel it. It makes my blood burn red hot, and we must harness this passion we both have and bring this dream to life!"

"Ok, but....if you don't mind me asking, how will my *ahem* "specific passion" really help you exactly?" Wu asked showing some possible skepticism towards D and his "genuine endeavor".

D simply looks down at Wu with a dark, icy gaze as if the demon had just been badly insulted and an eerie feeling of unimaginable fear fell over Wu.

"....I suggest you don't question a demon's motives, ever again Mr.Wu....I'd hate to lose a valuable business partner, before we even begin."

"R-Right, s-sorry. Will never happen again, I-I swear." Wu stuttered quite fearful of the blood red glare of the suddenly menacing demon.

"....Good! Thought we had a problem there for a second, glad we have that settled." D says suddenly snapping back to his calm and casual tone greatly contradicting his very intimidating persona just a few seconds ago.

"N-No problem at all sir, never will be a problem."

"Really happy to hear that, like you have no idea. Anyway, one thing needs to happen before we start is forming a marketing strategy that will help us beat the surrounding competition."

"Huh? Oh right, I suppose that is true. Hey, I'm actually hoping to get a degree in marketing so this is exactly the kind of work I've been looking for!"

"I wasn't even aware of that. This is absolutely fantastic, in that case I want to give you the most important job in this department. While I handle the boring licensing and paperwork, I need you to do a sampling of the public. You know, find our target audience by studying their eating habits and anything else you think is important as they try the food."

"Oh right, taste tasting. That is very important actually, hmm....and I think I can start putting together a focus group by tomorrow."

"Great. I am really looking forward to working with you, partner."

D ended his sentence by slowly stretching his hand out towards Wu, the young teen started to think twice about what he was doing. Making an actual deal with a devil, has his boring life really come to this? The boy reluctantly agrees to shake the man's hand in fear of making the demon angry again with a decline, the moment their hands touched Wu winced aloud in pain as he suddenly felt a burning hot sensation on his hand. Almost as if a branding iron was searing into his bare flesh soon quickly pulling his arm back and looking down at his palm, and there it was. The mark of the letter "D" with devil horns, Wu was now his property.

The very next day:

Wu soon woke up to find himself laying on the floor of his dorm apartment kitchen surrounded by a mess that could only be described as the kitchen fridge exploding as random pieces of food laid out on the floor like a raccoon had just raided the place recently, the side of his head absolutely throbbing in pain as if he had just survived a nasty mule kick to the dome.

"Ugh, my head....what, happened last night?" He groaned aloud slowly climbing back up to his feet, his fingers clinging onto the kitchen counter grazing what felt like layers of thick grease as slices of pickles, onions, cheese, and many other seemingly random ingredients cluttered the counter.

Wu groaned aloud wondering what could've caused his hangover of a headache and the mess left behind in his kitchen.

"Man, did a damn tornado happen?" He asked himself as his eyes scanned the counter only to fall upon a black box resting in the center of the mess.

Before he could investigate the box further he could hear his alarm clock suddenly blaring from his bedroom signaling he was going to be late for class.

"Oh shit, I gotta go!" He shouted quickly switching out of his horribly stained clothes and into his much cleaner yet still badly wrinkled school uniform snatching his bag from the closet and rushing out the front door....moments before a soft low growl came from the black box.
