chapter 3

Chloe had been interested in Quinn from the moment she laid eyes on him. How could she not be? He was just too cute, with a smile that lit up his whole face. There were just two problems though.

He couldn't have weighed more than a buck-fifty soaking wet when she'd first met him and she was very much taken. Josh wasn't really her type, though. She just had an image to uphold. Josh was tall, 300lbs of solid muscle and overly driven to succeed. He complimented her soft, sweet exterior. They'd been a power couple in high school and she expected that to continue.

Quinn, on the other hand, was skinny and pale with dark eyes. Not quite how she liked them but she could work with that. Chloe liked her men big, soft and submissive. Quinn's appetite certainly seemed to be on her side.

She could barely control herself when they went out to eat and he just kept ordering. Watching him gorge himself on fried food and walk out of each restaurant uncomfortable with his shirts stretched tight across his stuffed stomach drove her wild.

It was no surprise that he looked a little softer that day at the beach. It wasn't much, not at all. He was still extremely small but there was something there. It gave her hope.

Chloe wasn't the sort of girl to just sit by and idly watch, though. She seemed sweet, sure, but she was determined. When she'd wanted to land the hottest guy in school to prove a point, she had. When she'd decided she was going to get them crowned prom king and queen to get one over on her ex best friend, she'd done it with ease. Chloe didn't leave anything to chance.

When Johnny had asked her to help Quinn with an assignment, he'd given him to her on a platter. She'd give him an option, though. She wasn't a monster. There was an easy way or a hard way. She didn't care which one he chose, the destination would be the same, either way.

Bringing food with her and leaving it in his room was a good start, but it wasn't enough. When she was driving home from the library the next night and saw Quinn running along the road in workout clothes that were just a little snug, looking like he was about to pass out, Chloe knew she needed to up her game.
