chapter 14 - big plans

Frigid winds swept through the entrance to the best seafood restaurant in town as a large woman bumbled her way through the large twin glass doors, her boyfriend following behind while cursing at the cold wind. Mid-February was always one of the coldest times of the year and this windy evening was no exception, which is partially why Stef had not been thrilled when Daniel had suggested they walk the half mile to their dinner reservations.

“Stef please wait up!” Daniel shouted through the night air. Everything had been going according to plan until she received the unfortunately timed email. Just as they were wrapping up an amazing dinner, the news of her biggest social media partner pulling their sponsorship had sent her into a fit of crying before she stormed out of the restaurant. Fortunately for Daniel, Stef’s lungs began to struggle after only a minute of walking, and when her boyfriend caught up with her, he found his 282-pound girlfriend sitting by herself on a two-person bench in the middle of the city plaza.

“So uh, do you want to talk about this?” Daniel asked as he took a seat next to her. Stef sat with her face buried in her gloves, her voice nearly impossible to hear through the wind gusts.

“There’s not much to discuss. They said my body was ‘no longer ideal’ for their product and to reach back out when I lost at least thirty pounds.”

Just like Daniel had warned, Stef’s overstuffed hourglass frame had tipped, her body sending the majority of her latest gains directly to her belly and face. As it turns out, many of her fans and sponsors loved the plus size ass and tits only when paired with a slightly chubby face and stomach. Now that her face was rounding out and her gut was ballooning into a paunch, many of them were leaving for slimmer models, decimating her income and providing another reason for her to despise this psychology class.

“Babe we knew this would happen… you just need to pivot your brand is all. Your class is designed for you to study and become a feedee, maybe it’s time you stop pretending that you’re only a plus size model and embrace being a gainer? I bet you’d get a whole new wave of fans and sponsors then.”

Stef sighed as she lifted her face from her gloves, the cold winds stinging her tear-stained skin. “How many times do I have to tell you Daniel, I do not want to be fat. I feel so gross all the time and it’s only getting worse. I’m becoming a lazy whale and soon nobody will want me with this big disgusting body.”

Adam could sense the sadness in her voice and doubt began to grow within as he stared into the dark night. “Stef I know you think that being fat is making you unattractive, but you seem so happy when you’re not worrying about your weight. Well, I think you’re beautiful now and becoming even more beautiful with each additional pound. Is that so hard to accept?”

Stef wiped a fresh tear from her cheek, breathing in deep as she mulled over her boyfriend’s words. She had heard this spiel many times before but she still refused to believe a single word of it. “Sure Daniel, maybe you like it, but the rest of society thinks I’m gross. While I appreciate that you seem to continue loving me despite how much weight my fat body accumulates, what happens if we break up? I’ll just be another fat girl with limited prospects.”

Daniel’s stomach twisted in knots as he reached his hand into his coat pocket, pulling down his hood as he knelt in front of his crying girlfriend.

“Screw society and screw those other guys. I know what I want… and what I want is you.”

Stef’s eyes went wide as Daniel pulled out a small black box before pulling it open, revealing a beautiful ring.

“You’re the most amazing person I’ve ever met, and you make me incredibly happy every moment we’re together. Will you marry me?”

“Oh my god Daniel are you serious?!”

Daniel stared deep into her tearful eyes, “absolutely.”

Stef shrieked. “I love you so much… of course I’ll marry you!”

Daniel slid the ring over Stef’s chubby sausage finger, the fit being quite snug despite Daniel’s best efforts to account for her growing weight. The two went on to embrace in a long and passionate kiss as his hands moved up and down his fiancé’s curves, feeling the ample flesh they had added to her body together. She was big now, but he couldn’t wait to see how big he could get her for the wedding.
