Johnny's smile became a less amused scowl reading her say that, but then he pulled out his phone getting a rather fun idea.


"Alright fine, then how about this? I bet you can't go over there in the chips aisle and pop a bag in from over everyone-"


"Seriously? You call that a dare? You are so lame."


"Ah, ah, ah. You didn't let me finish,"


"Huh?"

< br>"I want you to go over there in the chips aisle and pop a bag in from over everyone, WITHOUT using your hands or feet."


"Wh-What? That's so stupid! Why would I-?"


"Unless of course you would rather me tell your fans that you're a...vegetarian?"


The way he hissed her damning secret made her spine chill and skin crawl, she huffed aloud knowing she didn't have much of a choice.


"F-Fine, I'll do your stupid dare." She growled moving towards the chips aisle. "Better than touching your shrimp dick,"


Johnny smiled pressing the recording button on his phone filming Lucy walking amongst the dense crowd of shoppers, looking around she quickly grabbed a big bag of spicy nacho chips holding them tight against her chest. She kept her eyes closed knowing exactly what he wanted to happen, her cheeks blushing bright red feeling her heartbeat in her ears. Wanting to just get it over with she dropped the chips onto the floor before jumping up and slamming her butt hard against the bag, making a loud popping sound sending shards of crunched up chips flying and scattering across the floor. The aisle became quiet from the crowd being surprised by the sudden noise, her face glowing as bright red as a tomato as she slowly lifted her chin to face the crowd of people looking down at her wondering what just happened.


"Sorry about that everyone, she can be a bit of a klutz at times. Nothing to worry about!" Johnny said with a light laugh walking over to help Lucy back up to her feet, inside her mind she was angry at him for making herself look like an idiot in public but at the same time silently glad he was there to make the experience more bearable being escorted out of the aisle back to their cart near the deli foods.


"That...was so embarrassing. I never felt so humiliated, so degrading, so-"


"So…. alive?"


She would shoot a skeptical raised eyebrow expression at him.


"Don't tell me, you're one of those perverted creeps that get a hard on seeing pretty girls get embarrassed in public."


"I admit, it is rather cute, and fun to watch."


She blushed a bit more without really knowing why this time.


"...How absolutely pathetic,"


"Talking about me or yourself?"


"Grrrrrrr…..&quo t;


Back at Lucy's house Johnny dumped all the groceries onto the kitchen table, despite her stoic emotionless stares at him frankly she was impressed he could carry so much weight on his own. What she didn't understand was why he bought so much stuff, there were cans of whip cream, bars of chocolate, boxes of dry pasta, beans, peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, eggs, flour, and a bunch of other stuff. It was like he was preparing a meatless Thanksgiving feast despite it only being early March.


"Despite how much I make fun of you for it, I do respect your life choice to be a vegetarian. So I'm making you some pasta and veggie dumplings, sounds good?" Johnny would ask, already getting the pot of water boiling on the stove flashing her a surprisingly warm and radiant smile that otherwise melted a whole through her icy cold exterior lighting a small fire in her chest from how thoughtful the gesture was.


A muscular, decent good looking single guy that can cook? If she didn't know any better she would say this guy was a total catch-no! What was she thinking? She violently shook her head side to side, wanting to rid herself of those foolish thoughts before walking out the kitchen and heading upstairs to be alone for a while.
