The next four days followed a similar format. The four spent most of their days together, having meals at Bree and Geoff’s favorite restaurants, spending time between at the beach and other local hangouts. One evening, Geoff and Bree hosted dinner at their home where Geoff prepared a massive spread, and the four spent the evening drinking and playing games. Each night, Josh and Dani plopped themselves in bed back at their rental and joked about the insane amount of food and alcohol Geoff surrounded himself, and thus his guests, with. It was a central and constant theme of their trip.

On the final day of their trip, Dani and Josh planned a day to spend by themselves. Geoff and Bree left them with recommendations on where they can eat and some hiking spots in the area. Ambitious as their plans for the day were, Dani and Josh spent most of their morning in bed, the two falling in and out of sleep as the sea breeze lazily swirled through the window.

Dani woke as she felt Josh gently kissing up and down her neck, down to her shoulder. His hand slipped up her shirt to cup her breast. Dani giggled as she felt proof of Josh’s arousal pressing against the back of her thigh.

“Joshy…” she teased, reaching behind to gently stroke over his underwear.

When the two finished, Josh laid in ruin, sprawled on his back, catching his breath. Dani kissed his bare chest and rolled out of bed to walk into the hall. Josh watched as the newly tanned skin on her tight ass absorbed the sunlight beaming into the bedroom. Her glutes fired with each step and the two dimples on her lower back swung rhythmically.

“Should I get us some breakfast going?” she called from the kitchen.

“Probably a little late to call it breakfast…”

“Well we have lots of groceries left from earlier in the week. I don’t want to have to throw it all away tomorrow morning when we leave.”

“Babe I can just order something, you don’t need to cook for us.”

“No! Don’t be silly. I can throw something together real quick.” she insisted

“Alright, fair enough! Anything I can help with?”

“I should be good,” she re-entered the room. Josh watched her abs flex as she twisted and turned to pop her back. “If you could, though,” she continued, “would you be able to get started with our packing? I think tonight I’m going to go with those white pants and black tank hanging together in the closet. Everything else can go.” She left the room after putting her t-shirt back on.

“No prob.” Josh said, pulling the bed sheets back into order.

Josh started to think about heading back to work as he folded his and Dani’s clothes, carefully packing them away. His team was about to start a massive migration project, so he was happy to have this week to relax before things really picked back up. He hummed a song to himself as he heard the sounds of cooking coming from the kitchen; knives chopping on cutting boards, the fridge opening and closing, pans sizzling. Before soon, his stomach was growling as the scent filled the apartment.

Josh laughed as he walked out into the kitchen. “Are we expecting guests?” he asked.

“It’s just, we either cook it and eat it, or it’s going to go to waste! I didn’t want to leave anything or have to throw it out in the morning before we leave.”

“Ha! No, I totally get it, it’s just funny.” Josh sat down to his plate piled with food; a massive ham and cheese omelette sat under a pile of bacon and sausage. To the side, three slices of buttered toast. He looked over at Dani’s plate which held roughly the same amount of food. “We can just have a smaller dinner,” he finished.

“The way Geoff operates, you’d think ‘small dinner’ didn’t exist out here.” Dani quipped.

The two ate as the TV played quietly in the background. To Josh’s surprise, he was quite hungry, and he worked away at his plate with more ease than he would have thought. Dani, on the other hand, was mostly picking at her omelette, spending more time sipping at her coffee and checking her phone.

“Hoo!” Josh exhaled, “this is incredible, babe. But I can’t wait to get back to our schedule and way of eating.”

“I know,” Dani dragged, “I just feel so full from this week. I’m not even that hungry right now,” she said, taking another sip of coffee. “Do you want to pick at mine?” she asked, gesturing at Josh’s mostly empty plate.

“That must be how Bree feels all the time,” Josh laughed, “but I’m good. Totally stuffed. Let me help you clean up.”

Josh scraped what little was left on his plate into the garbage and brought the plate to the counter. He came up behind Dani and hugged around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulder. He watched as Dani scrolled through her Instagram feed, and he picked away at some of the pieces of bacon and sausage she left on her plate.

“Literally can’t stop eating.” he broke in, bringing another piece of bacon to his mouth.

“Just enjoy it! We’re on vacation. A week isn’t going to hurt you.” she patted Josh's thigh behind her as Josh reached for her fork to pick at her omelette, more than half of which remained untouched.

---

Later that evening, the two sat across from each other as a candle flickered at the center of their table. The server arrived and placed their dishes in front of them, to the side of their frosty amber glasses. Josh looked down at his plate, full edge-to-edge with seabass, potatoes, and asparagus. Across the table, Dani pulled out her phone to photograph her seafood linguine.

“I almost don’t want to touch it,” Dani smiled, “It’s too pretty!”

“It does look bomb.” Josh agreed.

The two discussed the logistics of their trip back home; when they’d want to get up, shower schedules, etc. Dani picked around at her dish and slowly sipped her beer. She mostly watched as Josh talked and ate. Dani smiled and pushed her silky brown hair behind her ear as Josh put down his empty glass.

“Do you want another beer?” she asked.

---

“I feel like I can hardly move another step.” Josh whined as he shut the Uber door behind him. He reached into his pocket to grab his keys. “When we get back tomorrow, I don’t want to even see another beer for a month.”

Dani giggled as she followed him into the apartment. Josh leaned up against the counter and Dani put her doggy bag down next to him as she walked towards the bathroom. “I feel like a tank.” Dani could hear Josh complain in the kitchen.

When she walked back out, she threw her head back in laughter as she saw Josh picking at her leftovers with his fingers.

Josh laughed and blushed. “What!?” he asked, “this really is insanely good.”

“I know…” Dani trailed, “I loved it, I really don’t want it to go to waste, I just couldn’t eat it all.” she walked over to Josh to kiss him on the forehead and draped her jacket over the couch.

“Yeah, let me put this back in the fridge before I finish it all.”

“Oh God, no! That’s why I brought it home. Enjoy it! Really, I hate throwing food away.”

Josh continued to pick as he listened to Dani’s heels click against the floor as she walked towards the bedroom. “I feel like I need to undo my jeans like I’m someone’s Uncle on Thanksgiving.”

“Come lay with me!” Dani called from the bedroom.

Josh picked a few more times at the leftovers and put what little was left back into the fridge. “Coming!” he shouted back. He labored his way down the hall, pants undone for comfort.

His legs froze in place as he stood paralyzed in the doorframe. Mouth agape, he watched in awe as Dani sat up in bed, leaning back against the headboard, red lace bra and panties popping against her richly tanned skin. She giggled at the sight, slowly rubbing between her legs.

“Come and get me.”
