Ok kid, so we got about sixteen hours between us and our destination. But rules say you can only go about 10 today.

That sucks, it's only six more hours, then we would be done.

Yeah but it's the law. Now if you had a partner, you could just switch out and keep going. Deliveries are done quicker and allows for longer hauls.

So are you saying you want to swap out?

Nah, we can take the breaks. They are budgeted in for this ride. I'm here watching you. Just letting you know so after you finish your probation period you can decide what kind of route you want.

Amber was happy to get to ride with Gloria. Any misgivings she had at the beginning of the trip went out the window.

You ever partner up before Gloria?

Ehh, tried it. Not many folks can keep up with me.

Well kid, this may surprise you but not every applicant takes this trip as well as you have. Some hate being with anybody and hey I get that. But some really don't like the way I operate.

Amber was confused. Everything was going so well. What was Gloria talking about. Amber glanced at Gloria several times trying to understand but simply not getting it.

Ok kid, you will figure it out sooner or later. I am fat. There I said it.

Gloria laughed loudly.

Amber still didn't understand.

Ok listen I take rookies like you out on the road, we stop for lunch or dinner and I take you to the best stops around.

Yeah they are the best. Amber reminisced with a smile, one hand drifting to her belly.

Yeah well, not everyone is keen on that, sure they eat at the first few, but then I get blamed for fattening them up or something. Most girls singing up for this gig have some major life change and look at this as an escape to something new. Then they start packing on some pounds and it must be the big girls fault. After a while no one wanted to partner up for longer than a week.

Well I don't mind it at all.

Kid that s because you are almost all muscle. You could stand to pack so e regular meat on you.

Funny my mom says the opposite, that I have to shrink or I will scare the boys away.

Nah your only scaring off the jerks anyways, the ones that stick around, they make it worth it.

What, hell no. Most guys are into bigger girls, they just don't want to admit it because they are trained by society not too. But hey gimme a couple drinks and a minute alone and I'll have them.

Amber laughed.

It was making sense, Amber was quiet thinking this all over.

So what, how much did your previous probationary drivers gain.

Hmm, over the two months of probation, some just picked up 5 pounds. One girl gained about 15. She ended up leaving the company and trucking. Couldn't hack it.

15 pounds, in two months. Amber was shocked, but almost excited.

Yeah other girls complained about sharing such a small space with such a big girl, complained about my snack habits and such. Said I was in hygienic.

What, no I think it's fine. I don't mind at all.

Yeah i figured you don't mind about my habits, have a few of your own to look out for. Gloria laughed loudly.

What? Amber was shocked what had she been doing.

Ok I usually wait till the end of the first ride but we are a few days in. Firstly you have to wake yourself up. Me I've always been an early riser, even when I don't want to be. I guess that was from the Army but two days in a row I've been your alarm clock. You sleep in folks tend to drive to fast to try and make up the time. Your likely to get pulled over or worse yet crash.

Next hygiene, kind of goes along with the first issue of sleeping in. Again didn't really bother me for one day but some folks get lazy on the road. Long hauls they don't get out of the truck save for the bathroom. Just a week of stink.

Amber had a thought of a fatter heavier woman covered in stains and surrounded by food wrappers. She expected to feel disgusted, but for a moment thought who cares if it's just you.

Then there's last night.

Amber snapped her head to Gloria. What about last night.

We got back here, settled in for bed and before I had a chance to sleep you, well you know what you were doing. Hey I get it being on the road for a while it can get lonely and you need to take care of business.

No I wasn't lonely I mean I had just, oh nevermind I'm sorry. God I didn't even think.

Hey no problem kid just make sure anyone near you is really asleep before you do that stuff. Wait what do you mean you had just. I thought you broke up with your boy a coupe months back.

I did , it wasn't him.

What some other guy, come on kid 9 more hours on the road today could use some entertainment.

No no, it wasn't before we left.

What since we left, how, when did you have the time?

God this is embarrassing, it was at the restaurant last night.

Ohh you sneaky girl you did take a while in the bathroom last night. What did you do grab some guy on the way in.

No I didn't I was in there and she just walked in on me and we...

Gloria was speechless. More than that she dropped the candy bar she had been eating through all of this.

You never told me you played for the other team. I mean I have had some bad break ups but I do still enjoy the company of men.

No I do too, it was my first time. The hostess she just walked in and was so forceful and I don't know when she had be grab her belly it was so hot you know.

Well that explains why we ate for free. You really are my lucky charm. So wait not only are you into girls, but fat girls too.

No I... Amber was getting flustered. She was both my first girl and fat girl and like you said it just sort of felt natural, touching her belly then touching mine.

Gaining, I don't know about all that. It was just really good food and a really great time.

Ugh yeah. You living under a rock your whole life? Gloria started listing off a variety of sites that all seemed to focus on feeding and sex.

Well I'm not gaining, I'm just adjusting to the lifestyle you know. I'm sticking with the experienced driver and accepting suggestions.

Well of that's the case then take a look into it. Preferably when I'm not around or I'm asleep Incase it is to your liking. Also let's pull off at the next rest stop. This place has great ribs.

Gloria was right, yet again. Amber had followed her lead once more on the order and was rewarded with a plate of ribs drenched in sweet bbq sauce. The ribs were so tender the meat was falling off the bone. That didn't stop her from savoring every bit of the sauce and sucking the bones clean. The sides came next loaded potatoes and Mac and cheese. As she finished she let out a huge burp. A couple of male truckers at the bar turned and gave her a look. Gloria had said something about charging a fee to watch and they all turned back around.

Amberclimbed back in the truck and prepared to drive off but noticed once more that her snack compartment was nearly empty. She must have been eating the whole time and just not thinking about it. 15 pounds was starting to sound more like a low estimate. She replenished her snacks and flipped down her visor.

There in the reflection was her face stained with BBQ sauce and cheese. She imagined herself with a huge fuller face, larger breasts and a massive gut. She fidgeted in her seat. Heat was rising between her legs. She wiped herself clean and flipped up the mirror.

Okay kid, let's hit the road. I know a great place if we hurry.
