Chapter 2 - first changes

It was still one more week before school started. The past week the girls Zoe, Erinn, Anna and Victoria had spent a lot of time together, trying to get to know each other better.
Well, to be fair, they hadn’t seen Victoria much.
In the evening Victoria was almost never to be found at her room but instead at Matthews. Zoe really liked Matthew, he was a good guy, not really the type she would have pictured with Victoria, who could be bitchy from time to time.
He’d spent 2 evenings at Victoria’s and Zoe’s dormroom, watching tv with the two girls.
They had watched some lame redecoratingshow but he hadn’t complained once. He’d also invited the girls to a second party and this time, they all went.
Mostly because there would be drinking games and Erinn begged Zoe to team up for a game of beerpong. Erinn was very good at it, so they’d won a gave against 2 of Matthews friends, Ethan and Greg.
To be fair, the boys had already played a match and weren’t at their sharpest anymore. Nevertheless, Erinn and Zoe had been proud of their victory.
Erinn who was quite good at drinking, had pushed Zoe to do some ‘victoryshots’.
Zoe who was already feeling the beers, had agreed and didn’t remembre most of the night.
Victoria had been pretty drunk too. She’d given 2 guys a lapdance and none of them had been Matthew.
Erinn had noticed him drinking alone outside and had joined him to talk.
Zoe remembred dancing with Anna, and after she’d left with one of her beerpongopponents, Ethan.
She’d thought he was pretty, but who knows? It could have been the alcohol talking. She and Victoria spent the day after in bed, with a hangover.

After the first day of meeting in the cafeteria, Zoe, Erinn and Anna kept meeting there every midday.
The food was actually pretty good for how cheap it was.
Victoria sometimes joined them, but she told Zoe it was a bad idea to regularly eat there.
Zoe remembred the girls she’d seen on the first day, with their pants unbuttend and rubbing their bellies.
But Zoe wasn’t worried.
She knew that as soon as the lessons started she would have less time to go lunching with the girls and would return to her normal eating habits.
Besides she loved jogging and yoga, which out to keep the extra pounds at bay. At 5’9 she had maintainend a very skinny weight of 121 lbs for the past year.
She’d gone for a run everyday, except the day after they’ve went out. Erinn often joined her at her runs and so did Victoria.
Anna had come watch them once. She’d been eating a bag of chips at the bench.
After Victoria teased her about being lazy, Anna left and came only if she knew Victoria wouldn’t be running with them.
Zoe wasn’t worried about her own weight, however she was about Erinn’s.
She noticed that Erinn had a harder time keeping up with her than normally and she wondered if Anna’s habits had an influence on Erinn.
The next time the two of them were out running, Zoe decided to make a comment.
“Seems to me your having a hard time keeping up with me, Erinn!”, Zoe joked while looking behind her at her redfaced bestfriend.
Erinn tried to laugh, but almost choked in the effort.
“Yeah well, I guess I can explain”, she said while poking her stomach.
Zoe could see how her finger sank into her soft flesh, where before it used to be hard with muscle.
“I am glad you noticed it to. I thought my short were getting a little tighter, but I thought ‘as long as only I see it, it doens’t matter’. Lame excuses I know.” Erinn said while tugging at her shorts.
Zoe wasn’t sure what so say, she still thought Erinn looked good.
“But ofcourse I blame everything on Anna. I am innocent”, Erinn winked after that comment and Zoe starred to laugh.
They dicided to go shower and change back into their casual clothes.
Erinn told Zoe in the changingroom that in the two weeks before Zoe arrived at campus she hadn’t gone for a run once. She hated running alone and the only time she’d gotten Anna into sportleggings was when they had gone to an all-you-can-eat restaurant at the mall.
Zoe noticed Erinn had some difficulty with buttening her pants.
“I know my ass looks amazing right now, but could you stop looking so obvious?”, Erinn joked.
But she wasn’t wrong. Zoe noticed that in gaining a few pounds Erinn had grown more feminine and curvy.
“Haha sorry, but honestly, you look great”, Zoe replied. Erinn striked a model pose for Zoe.
“Ya think?” This made to two of the break out in laughter.
“No, I get what you mean. I kind of like the extra curves. But I’m sure that as soon as teampractise starts, I will shrink from 142 lbs to the old 131 lbs-me”, Erinn told Zoe.
Aha. So Erinn had gainend 11 pounds in 3 weeks. Almost 4 pounds a week.
If Erinn kept going she would’ve gained the dreaded freshman 15 even before the school year had officially started.
Before Zoe could respond, her stomach rumbled.
“Woeps, seems like my stomach is jealous of your all-you-can-eat story”, Zoe giggled.
“There’s a simple solution for that!”, Erinn smiled.
“I should go to the mall for some new clothes any way and I’m sure Anna would mind revisiting the all-you-can-eat restaurant.”

Walking back to their dorm, they decided not to bring Victoria. She’d probably only eat some salad and would make the girls feel bad about eating too much, but what was the point of going to an all-you-can-eat if you didn’t plan on overindulging yourself?
Anna had been lying in the couch with a bag of M&M’s while watching ‘friends’ on her laptop, when Erinn and Zoe went to get her to go to the mall. Her face immediately lit up after Erinn told her she and Zoe wanted to go to the all-you-can-eat restaurant she’d taken Erinn to in the first week after they’d met.
“That’s such a great idea, I wonder why I didn’t think of suggesting it myself”, Anna smiled.
“Just give me a minute to put on some pants.”
Only then did Zoe notice that Anna was sitting in her underwear.
She saw how Anna’s upperlegs toughed each other while she was seated and how a little roll of white flesh peaked out of her t-shirt and into her lap.
She wondered how Erinn would look if she gainend some more weight.
Would her body look as soft as Anna’s? Would the weight distribute evenly? Or would she become one of those bottom heavy girls? Would she get dimples in her chubby cheeks?
Little did Zoe know that Erinn was thinking of the same thing. Erinn had never cared about what society dictated about bodytypes. She’d never thought about gaining weight before, but now that she had by accident, she discovered she didn’t hate it.
The night before she’d enjoyed exploring her new found flesh. Before Erinn could finish her train of thoughts, Anna returned from her room, now wearing a pair of skin thight pink leggings.
Zoe noticed she was blushing. Erinn started laughing.
“You’ve got to be kidding me! What happend to your black ones? Don’t tell me they no longer fit.”
Anna looked down and turned even more red, if possible. Zoe could hardly hear her response but she assumed Erinn had been right.
“It doens’t matter, you can buy black ones at the mall if you want. I kind of like them”, Zoe said to make Anna feel confident again.
“Yeah, I’ll be buying some new sportclothes, we’ll find some new leggings for you”, added Erinn.
After that the three of them left for the mall.
