chapter 3 - emma´s mom got fat

Emma was starting to notice the impact of her mom’s new job. She spends a lot less time with her mom and a lot more with Katja.
She & Katja would come home from visiting her mom at the snackbar, get a bottle of coke and drop on the sofa and study a bit.

They both did sales and marketing as their secondary education. And well the study wasn´t that difficult, lots of sitting, reading, and working on the laptop. So, no physical effort was required that was one and probably the main reason that after high school they chose marketing. The second reason was that Emma wanted to grow. She wanted to turn her dad's two snackbars into a chain of fat food restaurants.

Then at around six the girls would order food and watch TV till mom came home at 22:00. When her mom just started running the snackbar she would often cook for her and Emma when she came home but it was now happening more often than not that her mom just brought several bags of food home from work, dump it at the table in front of the TV, sit down and join the girls. The three of them would mindlessly snack while watching Netflix and at 23:00 Katja would go home.

Emma started to notice that Katja was filling out real nice lately, that ass just kept growing she thought and smiled when Katja had some trouble getting up. But she herself also noticed that their routine newfound routine was making everything a bit more difficult. Lately, she was out of breath just from walking those 5 minutes from the snackbar back home and up that one set of stairs at night was really becoming a thing she hated.

Emma noticed the impact on her mom, even more, she wasn´t sure but she thought her mom didn´t go upstairs at all anymore. Which also wasn´t needed as their supersize sofabed was changed into a bed with the push of a button….and most of the time was already set as the bed when she and Katja were watching TV.

The thing that made her suspicious was that her mom had ordered lots of new clothes but kept them in the laundry room downstairs…. Emma thought about Katja´s butt a bit more and then noticed her mom getting up from the chair…my goodness she can hardly get up…she needed to rock back and forward several times and then use the table for support to get on her feet.

While watching her mom struggling to get up, she noticed that her mom's belly was hanging down way more than it ever did. When her mom finally stood her face was red and she was gasping for air. But her double chin, it´s probably the angle sitting down looking up but it looked like her mom’s neck was becoming one with her double, well probably triple chin. “Wow, mom is getting fat,” Emma thought probably for the first time in her life, she never considered her mom fat. She always thought her mom to be very attractive and beautiful, never fat. But looking at her mom waddling to the kitchen she for the first time noticed her mom was really fat and damn she looked pretty.

Actually, the only one that didn´t get bigger these last months since they opened the 2nd snackbar was her dad. He seemed to even have lost weight and looked more muscular than ever before, must be all the running around he does all the time Emma thought. Her dad was almost never home, he took care of the one snackbar himself, he did all the financial admin and was currently working on a 3rd place. He would come home around the same time Katja left and Emma would wait up for him, hug him and drag herself up the stairs. When she would wake up, mom would be downstairs making pancakes and waffles for breakfast and dad would be running off if not already gone.

This morning was different, dad was still there and had a huge grin on his face.
“My beautiful girls,” he started. “I have something that I hope is good news for the two of you. I got an amazing deal on the 3rd place I just bought. Which basically was that if I would sign this week, they would throw in the apartments above our other shop. The one you are running, love.” Her dad was looking at her mom in ways…ughh Emma wished she hadn´t seen it.
“It has a bit more space than this house and well Emma you might have noticed your mom´s hard work added a couple of pounds to her beautiful figure. Which I do not mind at all, but well it makes the stairs in this old house just a bit too much for her. While the new place of course has that elevator to the apartments and everything else is on the same level.”

Emma looked at her mom, in daylight, and damn she had gotten fat. Emma was close to 340lbs last time she and Katja got on the scale, and damn Katja she was also getting big as Emma remembered that the once twig of a girl now only was 50lbs less than she was herself.
But, what about her mom…she must be way over 400lbs. Emma started to think back and looking back she noticed her mom was always having a Milkshake at hand whenever she visited and if she wasn´t snacking an empty plate was next to her.

When she started running the snackbar she said that she would only eat unhealthily when the girls would visit. Emma didn´t pay attention to that back then, but mom clearly did not stick to that plan.

Emma looked her mom over, she was just a couple of inches shorter than Emma, but if Emma was 340lbs her mom, Wow, she must be over 450lbs for sure.
That belly of hers was hanging till just above her knees, her thighs were so thick she couldn´t walk without waddling from side to side. Her upper arms used to show an elbow, now the pillows of fat from her upper arms covered the elbows entirely. And as she noticed yesterday, her mom’s neck was starting to disappear. The fat of her face was becoming one with her shoulders.

Emma could not believe she did not notice this till now, but then Mom was mom and she was seeing her every day, but this bit of extra weight made her look so pretty
