I came from my honeymoon after 2 weeks of gluttony and lust a slightly bigger man, I gained 5 or so pounds and lost all of my muscle mass.

Swimming in Bora Bora can only do so much. I didn’t even notice. I was still slim, and I was happily married so, it wasn’t even on my mind.

When I realised, I didn’t even really care that much. About 2 weeks after the honeymoon. I was putting on my workpants. My button popped off. I was right next to the full-length mirror and there it was. The small gut it was back. I weighed myself and I had gained 12lbs. I grabbed my old 34” and made my way to work.

That’s how it was. I would increase in size and grab my old clothes; I didn’t think about it much until it was our 6-month anniversary. I didn’t even realise that I was in my largest clothes. I had gained back 40lbs plus an extra 7lbs. We went to recreate our proposal, at the same restaurant and table and clothes.

I knew that I wasn’t the same weight as I was when I proposed but, when I got measured, I realised that I was massive, I realised I was at my heaviest that I have EVER been.

I didn’t care. I made my way to the table and sat down to have our date.

I knew by this point this large man was now me and I was liking it a bit. I was never cold unlike when I was skinny. I didn’t have to worry about fitness and that stuff but also, people knew that I ‘looked married’ I knew it was funny but, it made me realise that I am a married man.

So, I didn’t stop when I popped out of my suit pants and shirt when I had dinner. My husband never said anything about the weight gain, and I am fine with my body just the way that it is.

I have plateaued. Since asking for my in-laws for his son’s hand in marriage I have gained 103.2lbs

I was 143lbs and at 5’ 10”

Now I am 246lbs, I now have a large gut that I have a gut that my husband loves me just as much as my husband loves me.”
