This is the story of Sienna, a young woman with a captivating beauty. She stands at 5'4, with a curvaceous build and an oval-shaped face. Her most defining feature is her mane of untamed red curls that cascade down her back like fox fur. Her eyes are the color of an emerald forest pool, and her lips are full and inviting. Sienna isn't really into sports, but has a real fondness for red velvet. She has a sweet tooth and can't resist buying some delectable red velvet treats from the bakery. This love for desserts has caused her to gain some extra weight, which she doesn't mind too much. In her leisure time, Sienna likes to meet up with friends, watch a movie or play video games or binge-watch series. She also likes going for a walk four days a week to maintain good physical and mental health.

Sienna has a tight-knit group of friends that she adores. They spend a lot of time together and have a good time, but she also appreciates her solo moments. She is a bit of an introvert who is comfortable with her own company. Although she has had a few crushes in the past, Sienna has never been in a serious relationship. She is perfectly happy with her current situation and savors each moment. At the head of her group of friends is Jake, who has dark brown hair and a tall, thin body. They have been friends for years and have a special connection. They often take walks together, talking about anything and everything. Jake is passionate about red velvet as well and frequently joins Sienna in her baking endeavors. Sienna lives an uncomplicated life that makes her very content. She loves to engage in her hobbies, spending time with her friends and family. She knows there are still many things she wants to try out and experience, but at the present moment, she is pleased with her life as it is. Little does she know that it will soon change.
Now, the world Sienna lives in looks a lot like the world you and I live in. With one stark difference, though. Every myth, every story, every bit of folklore, it’s all true. This doesn’t mean the peoples of this world know this. Humans being humans, most of them don’t want to believe in the old gods, magic, fairies and dragons. They want life to be simple. In reality, the world isn’t, of course. Creatures and entities of myth watch, and sometimes interfere with, humanity. Mostly for fun. That’s what immortality does to you. After a few eons, you just get bored and start to watch some silly humans go about their life. And when you do that, you might just get attached to some. Not unlike being attached to the lead of a long time series you’re watching. And when you have nigh limitless powers at your disposal, well, you might just decide to indulge them a little.

Sienna was walking home from a quick trip to the bakery. It served as a sort of “reward” for going on walks every so often. The walk from her home to the bakery was about 20 minutes, so going there and back again was a nice walk she would do a few times a week. Red velvet cookie in hand, she walked through the darkened streets. It was winter, so it got dark quick. She was busy talking to her phone. Recording a voice message for her friend Jake. Sienna and Jake were both in the last year of their study. Sienna only had a few things she needed to take care of, but Jake was quite a bit behind schedule. He had some subjects to redo from last year and had asked Sienna for help. Being brought up with good manners and being the good girl that she was, she wholeheartedly accepted. She liked helping people. The subject they were working on was about marketing. When Sienna had done the project, it was about advising a made up company with their process of customer journey. It seemed the project was close enough to the original, so she could use some of her own work as examples. “You want to, hmm, first completely map out their current customer journey and, hmm, general company information,” she said while taking a few bits of the cookie and talking with her mouth full. After a long voice message, she pressed send and went on walking.

A few minutes later, she arrived home. She opened the door to her small studio apartment and took off her jacket and boots. She let herself fall on the couch and started the TV. She didn’t have any homework to do this night, so she thought she could just as well start the new ‘Wednesday’ series Netflix just came out with. She heard a lot of good things about it from Jake. About six episodes in, she started to get tired. She looked at the clock and saw it was getting close to 11:30PM. “Time to get ready for bed,” she said to herself. She valued sleep and, so, held herself to a sleeping schedule. Unless she was with friends, of course. She got up, cleaned up the couch and table, and went to brush her teeth. When she finally got in bed, she fell asleep rather quickly. It seemed tutoring Jake took a bit of energy.

Sienna had an interesting dream that night. She was dreaming that she was in a beautiful forest. The trees were tall and green, and the sun was shining through the branches. She was walking along a path, taking in the beauty of the forest. Suddenly, she saw something out of the corner of her eye. She turned her head and saw a pair of yellow, slit-pupiled eyes with a silvery sheen around them. They seemed to be coming from the shadows. She was a little frightened, but also curious. She looked away, and when she looked back, the eyes were gone.

She continued walking along the path, but now she was more alert. She kept her eyes peeled for any sign of the mysterious eyes. Suddenly, she heard a rustling in the bushes. She turned her head and saw a beautiful white wolf. When she looked closer, she saw that the wolf wasn’t actually white, but silver. Silver that shone so bright, it almost looked white. The wolf had the same yellow eyes as she had seen earlier. Sienna was amazed. She had never seen a wolf like this before.

The wolf looked at her with its bright yellow eyes and then ran away into the forest. Sienna followed the wolf, and she found herself in a clearing. In the centre of the clearing, there was a beautiful crystal lake. The wolf was standing at the edge of the lake, looking at her. Sienna walked towards the lake and looked into the water. She saw her reflection, and she saw that she was wearing a white dress. She looked beautiful.

Suddenly, she woke up. She realized that it was just a dream, but it felt so real. She couldn't stop thinking about the beautiful silvery wolf and its yellow eyes. She wondered what it meant. Was it a sign of something? She didn't know, but she felt that it was a dream that she would not quickly forget. She decided to write it down. Maybe she could look up the meaning in the morning. After writing down the dream, she turned off the bedside lamp and got back to sleep.

The next morning, she woke up refreshed. The silver wolf had not returned in the few hours of sleep she had after her initial wakening. She got up and made herself breakfast. While eating, she got her notebook and started to draw on the page after her written down dream. Sienna liked to draw. Particularly fantasy landscapes and creatures, so the silver wolf with yellow, slit-pupiled eyes wasn’t that hard. She drew the wolf's head, looking slightly to the side. After having finished the outline, she started to add some colours. Yellow in the eyes, white in the teeth, and light grey for the fur. She didn’t have anything she could use for silver, so she decided on a light grey. She was actually quite happy with the results.

After getting dressed, she decided to text Jake if he wanted to hang out today. She got an almost instant reply. Unfortunately, Jake couldn’t meet up today. He was still busy with his homework. Sienna decided to go for another walk. “A bit earlier than normal, but I don’t have anything to do now. So might as well get a piece of cake,” she smiled. She put on her jacket and boots, and began walking.

Twenty minutes later, she arrived at the bakery. ‘Velvet Dream’ it was called. They specialized in red velvet and had a small café area inside. Alice walked up to the register and waited for the girl to nice her. “Good morning luv! What will it be for you today.” “I’d like a piece of red velvet and white chocolate cake please. And a cappuccino as well.” “I’ll bring it to you when it’s finished,” the girls said with a smile, “just sit down wherever.” Alice walked to the tables and sat in one of the corners of the bakery. She put in an earbud and put on some music while she looked out the front windows. She liked to watch people. Just walking past. Busy with whatever problems they had that day. Some looked interesting, others fancy. There was even a guy with, what looked like, a full tailor made suit. He walked past in a hurry. “Must be going to an interview or something,” Alice thought to herself. “He looked too young to be a businessman.” She was so deep in thought that she didn’t see the girl from the bakery walk up to her with a tray. She startled a bit when she laid her hand on her arm. “Your order, luv,” she said. “Ah, thanks!” Sienna replied. When the girl returned to the register, Sienna arranged the cake and coffee in a beautiful way on the table and snapped a picture. “You’re missing something delicious,” she texted to Jake with the picture attached. “Ah damn. Why do you do this to me 😂,” came the reply. “I need to focus on my homework, not delicious red velvet 😡.” Sienna laughed to herself a bit and began eating. After the cake and coffee were gone, she yawned. “Need to get back now,” she thought. “Just sitting here doesn’t really help with my energy today.” She stood up, waved to the girl behind the register, and walked out the door. It was cold and windy outside now. And it would seem it would rain soon. It was getting a bit darker. “I should hurry,” Sienna thought, “don’t want to get soaked.”

She began walking until she passed a particularly dark allay. “psst.” Sienna stopped walking and looked around. “psst, hey you,” came the voice again. Sienna looked toward the alley, where the voice seemed to came from. She just decided that it probably wasn’t a smart idea to keep lingering with someone ‘psst’ing at you, when a man in a dark hoodie came out of the shadows. “And what is a beautiful girl like you doing all alone on a day like this,” he asked. Sienna turned around and wanted to walk away. “Don’t go now,” another man said, who had sneaked up behind her. “We want to get to know you a little better,” the first man said. “Stay the hell away from me!” Sienna screamed. “There is no need to be so catty,” the man continued while getting closer. He got so close he could almost touch her. Then, Sienna punched him in the face and tried to run, but the second man was still behind her, and she ran straight into him. “You’re not going anywhere, girly,” he said. Then, out of nowhere, the wind seemed to pick up. There was a weird sound under the howling of the wind that made the two men take a few steps back. It was a sort of… growling? The two men looked around for the growling, but couldn’t seem to find the source. Then, Sienna saw them. Two yellow, slit-pupiled eyes in the shadows. The two men followed her gaze and saw the eyes. “What the hell is that!” one of them screamed. Then, the pair of eyes moved, and a silver wolf stepped out of the shadows. “Bob, what the hell is that thing!” one of the men shouted to the man who was apparently called Bob. “Run!” the other replied. They began to run, but the wolf moved so fast it looked like a silver flash. It stood in front of them. It was taller than a normal wolf. Standing almost 1.20m (3’11”) tall. It bared its fangs and growled at the men. Sienna had to say that it was all quite scary. If she hadn’t recognized the wolf from her dream, she would have fainted on the spot. The wolf jumped at the men and with one of its mighty paws on each of their breast, pushed the men to the ground. They looked up in horror. Then the wolf roared. Sienna hadn’t ever heard a sound like that in her life. It faintly resembled a cross between a werewolf roar from movies and another creature she couldn’t quite place. The men’s eyes bugged out of their skulls and then closed. Fainted from shock. The wolf stepped off the two men and looked at Sienna. She couldn’t move even if she wanted to.

The wolf began walking toward her, but not in the angry way as it had done a few moments ago. No, more gentle, but still with an incredible aura of power around it. It approached her slowly. Sienna began shaking as it brought its enormous head towards her hand. Then it stopped. It sniffed a few times and looked up. “Are you hurt,” a voice asked. It took Sienna a few moments to register what just happened. “W- what,” she asked. “Are you hurt,” the voice asked again. She didn’t see the wolf's mouth move, but she was certain that it was the wolf that was talking to her. “I- I think- I-,” she stammered. “I think so,” she finally managed. “How are you talking, who are you, what are you, am I dreaming,” she asked in rapid fire. “Easy, easy,” the wolf spoke, “all in due time. We need to get you back home first.” “I- yes… Thank you…,” Sienna said. Still shocked. The wolf nodded and began walking. Sienna followed. “How do you know where I live,” she asked eventually. They had been walking for ten minutes now, and the wolf seemed to know where it was going. “I have been watching you for some time now,” the wolf replied. “What,” Sienna asked, “what do you want from me?” “I don’t want anything from you,” the wolf said. “I know you like watching people go about their lives. Think of it in the same way, but different. Maybe it would be better compared to a series. I like watching you go about your life. Going to parties, helping Jake with his homework, just relaxing. It’s all quite fascinating really.” “I don’t understand,” Sienna replied. She then remembered that they were walking in the streets in broad daylight. She looked around. Looking for people to run away from the frightening wolf. She then made an interesting observation. Nobody seemed to notice the wolf. The all just unconsciously walked around it and didn’t pay it any attention. “Can’t they see you,” Sienna asked. “The other humans? No, not when I don’t want them to.” “Other humans,” Sienna repeated. “What are you? You can’t be a wolf, wolves don’t talk.” “And they aren’t silver either,” the wolf interjected. “Good observation. Ah, here we are.” The wolf stopped. Sienna looked up and saw that the stood in front of her apartment door.
