Chapter 5 : The invitation

Hey guys, we've made it to Pete and Mary's place!' she says excitedly. 'I can't wait to see what kind of delicious meal they have in store for us tonight.
Check out this beautiful house. It's so different from what we're used to back in France. I love how each house has its own unique style here in the States. Let's go inside and see what's cooking!'"

As Lena walks up to the house, she notices a bright red scooter parked on the landing. She points her camera at it and grins :
Look at this, guys! How cute is this scooter?' she exclaims. 'I'm not sure if it's Pete's or Mary's, but either way, it's adorable.' She pauses for a moment, then adds :

" I just found on internet that this scooter is actually made specifically for overweight individuals! How cool is that? It's great to see that companies are making an effort to accommodate people of all sizes. And who knows, maybe after indulging in all of this delicious food, I might need to borrow this scooter to get around too!" Lena says with a chuckle as she enters the house

"Looks like we'll have to keep an eye on Lena's plate tonight" Michael jokes as they enter the house.

Lena and Michael knocked on the door and were greeted by Mary, who welcomed them warmly into the house. "Hey guys, welcome! Pete is in the kitchen putting the finishing touches on dinner, come on in and make yourselves at home," she said with a smile.
She was dressed in a stunning red dress that fit her curves perfectly. However, it was clear that the dress was a bit tight on her, and she was waddling a bit as she walked.

As they entered the living room, Micheal couldn't help but notice Mary's beauty. He found her attractive despite her size, and Lena noticed the look on his face. She felt a bit jealous and expressed it to him in a hushed tone. "Did you see how you were looking at Mary when she opened the door? Don't tell me you find her more attractive than me?!" Lena whispered to Micheal as they walked to the kitchen.

Pete was busy in the kitchen cooking up a storm, and the smells were delicious. The table was set with beautiful plates and glasses, and Lena couldn't wait to taste the meal that awaited them. As they sat down, Pete joined them, and the conversation flowed effortlessly. It was clear that they were going to have a great night together.

As Pete carried the food from the kitchen to the table, Lena and Micheal were amazed by the amount of food that was prepared. It seemed like Pete had cooked for a large gathering. Lena couldn't help but notice the dishes were all very fattening.

"Oh my god, Pete! This is too much food for just the four of us!" Lena exclaimed, looking around the kitchen in disbelief.
Micheal chuckled and replied, "Looks like we are going to have to indulge again a bit tonight, Lena. I hope you're ready for this!"
Lena let out a sigh and said, "I don't know if my stomach can handle all of this, but it smells so good!"

Pete, who was busy checking on the food, turned around and said, "I hope you guys are ready for a feast! I wanted to make sure we had enough for leftovers too."

Lena and Micheal couldn't believe how much food was on the table. The aroma was intoxicating and they couldn't wait to dig in. But they also knew they would have to be careful not to overindulge.
Lena was holding her camera and recorded the food on the table.

"As promised, guys, I'm filming Pete's feast. And believe me, it's something you don't want to miss. I can't believe he cooked all of this for us. Let me take you on a culinary journey. So, here we have a big bowl of mashed potatoes, next to it some delicious mac and cheese. Oh, and those roasted potatoes, they are calling my name. And if that wasn't enough, here's a big serving of lasagna with cheesy sauce on top. I'm getting hungry just looking at it. But wait, there's more! Pete also prepared a big bowl of salad, but let's be honest, we all know what we are here for. The main course! Everything looks so good, but I'm not sure if my stomach can handle it all. Well, let's see how much we can eat, shall we?"

Lena, Micheal, Pete, and Mary started eating the delicious food that was laid out on the table. Pete made a suggestion to Lena and Micheal that they should try to eat the food with their hands, as it would be more enjoyable. Lena was hesitant at first, as it was not a common way to eat in France, but she decided to give it a try. She took a small piece of chicken with her fingers and took a bite. The taste of the food was even more enhanced, and she found herself enjoying it more than when using utensils. She shared her experience with Micheal, who also gave it a try and agreed that eating with their hands made the food taste really better. They continued eating, trying out different dishes, and enjoying the experience.
Lena asked, excited, if she could continue filming for her vlog, and Pete and Mary happily agreed.

"Oh my god guys, you won't believe this! We are eating with our fingers! It's amazing, it's messy, it's so much fun! I feel like a kid again, I can't stop laughing! And the food, oh my, it's just fantastic! Pete is such a great cook, every single bite is an explosion of flavors in my mouth. I am so glad we came here, this is a truly unique experience! I have to say, I was a bit skeptical at first, but eating with my hands is definitely the way to go! Who needs cutlery, right? I can't wait to try more dishes and indulge in this wonderful food coma!"
