Chapter 3 - Day Zero Begins

Debbie turned and looked up the street. Seeing the commotion that Hailey had witnessed first. Along with more and more people stopping what they where doing, and observing the situation also. "What's happing?" Debbie said as suddenly a man running in their direction was shouting

"Everybody Run!!!! Their coming! Their coming!!! Run for your lives!! Go go go!!" he said pointing at the two girls as he run past them "Debs I think we should go!" Hailey grabbed her friends shoulder "Yeah let's...." But before Debbie finished her sentence, she was interrupted by the sounds of even more screaming, coming from up the street. She turned to look and see what was happing now... and that's when she first laid eyes on one of them... "The Blobs..."

What she witnessed next was something never witnessed before. She saw these... white things moving about, Jumping onto people. At first she couldn't really make out what they where doing, Until suddenly she seen a Big one leap up high into the hair, and landing on a group of people who where next to each other. In that instant the white thing began to shrink... but the people it landed on? They began to grow! And grow! The white creature gone and in its place? Fattened up people who where skinny only mere moments ago... Debbie looked to Hailey with a face of dread.... "RUN!!!" she shouted as she took Hailey by the hand.

People all around them began to scream and shout themselves as they ran. Cars crashing into the back of each other as they made drastic breaks. People running into stores, restaurants, cafes. As they began to make their retreat to the unknown threats, that now found their way onto the street. With people who where closer to the street junction begin Debbie and Hailey, beginning to be fattened up by the strange white creature's. Some having smaller gains, while others... having more drastic gains.

Not looking back, Debbie was pulling Hailey by the arm "We're heading to the station OK?! we'll get a train back home, where its safe!" she shouted with some panic in her shaky voice, as Hailey just nodded, looking scared herself from what they had just witnessed...

It would be about a 5 minute journey to the train station, the way the two friends had come to the city for the day. Wanting to save a bit of money on travel costs, and the fact Debbie just loved trains too. "On all the days to take a train!!" Debbie shouted as they came to another junction between streets, her spying more of the white creature's on the street to their right "Shit!!!" She called as they ran across the road, with cars beeping, helplessly waiting to get passed to no avail...

Getting tired, the two girls began to slow down "Debs! we gotta keep going!" Hailey said as she held Debbie up. Debbie the more tired of the two with her running and pulling. Trying to catch her breath, Debbie looked up "Yeah *Huff* Yeah..." she bent her head down a bit as she regain some of her composher. Meanwhile, smaller white creature's where about on the street around them. Debbie looked up to Hailey who had taken a few steps back. Her eyes looked panicked and frantic as she spotted what was heading straight for her friend.

"HAILEY!!! LOOK OUT!" She pointed to the smaller white creature... But it was to late "Gahh!!!!" Hailey screamed as it soon became a bit muffled, as the thing began to make it's way into her. Debbie watched with fear as she seen her friend begin to fatten up infront of her eyes. A belly forming and poking out of her crop top and new jacket. Her hips and legs getting a bit wider, as the white thing then soon vanished, only leaving a slightly dazed Hailey in its wake.

"HAILS!" Debbie now suddenly having her energy back, grabbed her friend "You OK?!" she asked "Ugh...." Hailey felt her head. More and more of the things approaching, Debbie grabbed Hailey by the wrist once again. "CMON!!!!" she shouted as she pulled her friend. With a new found adrenaline rush... She made haste towards the station. As she did so, people all around her where getting attacked, and in turn fattened up. Debbie tried to pay no mind to it for now... she had to hey herself and Hailey to that station... No mater what...

The two then found themselves at one of the station entrances and began making their decent, on the crowed stairs. Seemingly a lot of people shared the same idea as the two girls on their plan of escape from this horror... With a lot of pushing and shoving, and unfortunately some trampling... the two girls ran and ran towards the ticket gates, where the gates where all open allowing quick and easy access through them... however the station wasn't as safe as Debbie had thought. All around her she could see fattened up people. With one person being wedged between one of the gates... White creature's where falling from the glass ceiling above landing on unexpecting victims... another being Hailey once again, who had another smaller white thing land on her, Causing Debbie to fall onto her back.

Quickly rolling over, she looked to Hailey "HAILS!!!" She watched as her friend fattened up more, Going from her chubby look, to a now more fat look. Her belly swelled bigger, resulting in a slight hang over her jeans. which themselves where beginning to rip due to the increased legmas. Soon Hailey was beginning to look a lot more like how she used to... all her hard work being for nothing in a instance.

Getting up, Debbie grabbed Hailey and pulled the now much more heaver and slower friend towards their platform. With the sounds of a very panicked conductor blowing her whistle, Indicating the train was about to leave. Getting to the train doors, Debbie pushed Hailey through into the train. And jumping in herself. She turned to give the conductor a hand, But when she looked to the conductor, it was to late... A vast amount of white creature's where pouncing onto the poor women. Debbie watched in horror as she swelled up more and more, her clothes tearing and shredding as she was becoming a large mass of fat. The train doors shut, with a white creature spatting itself onto it's window. Causing Debbie to get a fright and stumble back. She had been saved by the door. The train did a sudden jolt, as it began to leave the station at a faster than normal speed.

Debbie rested against the wall and began to catch her breath. That was a close one... to close... But at least they made it to the train... She looked over to the now much fatter Hailey who was panting pretty hard. Debbie sighed. Unfortunately they hadn't made it unscaved...
