Chapter 1

He just moved from another town, to start working for this well known tech company. Apparently he is super smart and exactly the profile the company needed to solve its problems. He is in his early 30s, medium height, muscular, but not toned. Rather thick, and he looks really strong! He has gained quite some muscle in the past few years and he has been working hard to get here. His head is full of dark disheveled hair, he is wearing glasses and has a short neat beard. He would look messy and nerdy if he wasn't wearing a nice shirt every single day, which emphasized his strong arms and chest, revealing that he has other interests in life, but his job.

She has been in the company for a while now. She started working here just after graduating as one of the best students in her generation. During the last few years she has been promoted a few times and became one of the most important finance experts in the team. She is rather short, about 5’5 with light brunette hair and dark brown eyes. Eventhough she is always neat, she likes to wear more casual clothes. She talks a lot but is not annoying and it's very easy to see why she became so successful. She is a natural born leader. Despite all that confidence, she is a bit insecure about her figure: during the last few years she has become a little chubby. Not fat, but enough to be noticable. Stressful job left its mark. She started neglecting sports and rather had a beer in the evening to relax. And of course, you cannot have a beer without salty snacks, right? Her butt became wider and she grew a small round tummy, which would be visible if she wore dresses. But of course she does not.

They both work in different departments but they often see each other in the cafeteria during lunch time. He first noticed her when she was sitting exactly in the direction he was looking at. She leaned back after the meal, waiting for the others, who apparently eat slower than she does. Her hand slides below her oversized sweater and if he was not mistaken started to gently rub the belly. He couldn't erase this event from his mind and was lurking on her ever since. And without fail, every single day she ate all the food and every single day she wore oversized clothes, which made him wonder even more what they were hiding.

She noticed him already on the first day. Who could miss a wide back, strong arms and bubbly but in tight clothes. She was wondering if a shirt that wouldn't look tight on him exists at all! He came every day with his coworkers, but he didn't talk much. She noticed a few times that he was looking in her direction, but she couldn't really decide if he was staring at her or just having that distant look, suggesting he was still calculating something in his head. She did not mind it though and as a leader she always decided where her team would sit. And not by accident, they always sat where he could clearly see her. Despite knowing that, she couldn't hold back on her lunch, she worked really hard after all and that made her hungry. sometimes she was wondering what he must be thinking about her appetite.

A few months after his arrival a new product was about to be launched, which required the formation of a new working group. He was the main developer and she was in charge of the finance.
