Chapter 2 - Patrick

As Patrick continues to rummage through the fridge, Michelle's mind races with possibilities. She knows that this moment could be a turning point in their relationship, a chance to assert her newfound sense of power and control.

"Patrick," she says, her voice steady and confident despite the turmoil brewing inside her. "I think it's time we had a little chat about our options moving forward."

Patrick pauses mid-bite, a curious expression flickering across his face as he turns to face Michelle. "What do you mean?" he asks, his tone tinged with a hint of apprehension.

Michelle takes a deep breath, steeling herself for what comes next. "Option A," she begins, her voice firm and unwavering, "we start eating healthier. We order salads from Salad Works, we hit the gym a few times a week, and I make a concerted effort to lose some weight."

Patrick's brow furrows in confusion, but before he can interject, Michelle plows ahead. "Or," she continues, her gaze locking with his in a silent challenge, "Option B. We indulge. We go all out, Patrick. We order the greasiest, most calorie-laden food we can find, and I become bigger than that college glutton with the donuts. It's up to you."

There's a pregnant pause as Patrick absorbs Michelle's words, his expression shifting between disbelief and intrigue. He opens his mouth to speak, but Michelle cuts him off with a wave of her hand.

"No need to answer right away," she says, her voice tinged with a hint of smugness. "Take some time to think about it. But remember, whatever you choose, I'm all in."

Patrick's mind swirls with conflicting thoughts and desires as he gazes at Michelle, his mouth hanging slightly open in astonishment. The mere mention of Option B ignites a primal fire within him, stirring long-buried fantasies and desires he never dared to acknowledge.
