The gluttony chronicles: lola + macy

Chapter 5 - Macy

Fast forward a month our couple has been busy with finals and getting ready for the summer. Lola finds a book she borrowed over spring break from Macy. Being the lazy girl she is, she asks Jake to go to Macys house to return it.

Jake stood on Macy's doorstep, the borrowed book clutched in his hand, unsure of what to expect. As the door swung open, he was greeted by a sight that took him by surprise—a markedly different Macy than the disciplined track star he remembered.

Gone was the sleek, athletic figure he was accustomed to seeing on the track. Instead, Macy stood before him, her once-toned physique now softened and adorned in a snug sports bra that struggled to contain her newfound curves. Her hair was tousled, and a sheen of sweat glistened on her forehead, evidence of a recent workout—or perhaps a lack thereof.

"Hey, Jake!" Macy greeted him cheerfully, her voice tinged with a hint of breathlessness. "What brings you here?"

Jake couldn't help but stare, momentarily taken aback by the transformation before him. "Uh, hey, Macy," he stammered, snapping out of his reverie. "Lola asked me to return this book to you. She found it while we were packing up for the summer."

Macy's eyes lit up at the mention of the book, and she eagerly reached out to take it from him. "Oh, awesome! I've been looking for that everywhere," she exclaimed, flashing him a grateful smile.

As Jake handed over the book, he couldn't shake the feeling of astonishment at Macy's changed appearance. It was clear that she had undergone a significant transformation since he last saw her, and he couldn't help but wonder what had led to such a dramatic shift.

"Thanks, Jake. Tell Lola I said thanks too," Macy said, interrupting his thoughts. "And hey, if you guys ever want to hang out this summer, just let me know!"

As summer came to an end, Jake and Lola approached Macy's house, they exchanged nervous glances, unsure of what to expect after the dramatic changes they had witnessed in their friend before the semester ended. Taking a deep breath, Jake raised his hand and rapped lightly on the door, the sound echoing through the quiet neighborhood.

Before they could even register the knock, they heard Macy's voice from inside the house. "You can leave the pizzas on the step, I'll come out in a sec!" she called out, her tone casual and nonchalant.

Jake and Lola exchanged a puzzled glance, momentarily confused by Macy's words. Before they could process it further, the door swung open, revealing Macy standing before them in all her transformed glory.

Gone was the disciplined athlete they once knew—instead, Macy stood before them in a robe and boxers that struggled to contain her burgeoning curves. The robe hung loosely around her frame, barely concealing the ample flesh beneath, while the boxers strained against her swollen thighs and hips.

As she greeted them, a mischievous grin played across her lips, and she popped a gummy into her mouth with a casual flick of her hand. Jake and Lola couldn't help but notice the way her fingers lingered on her plump belly, absentmindedly scratching at the soft flesh as she spoke.

"Hey, guys! Sorry about the mix-up with the pizzas," Macy said, her voice tinged with a hint of amusement. "Come on in—I was just about to dig into some snacks. Care to join me?"

Jake and Lola exchanged a hesitant glance, unsure of how to respond to Macy's invitation. But as they stepped inside, they couldn't help but marvel at the sight before them—a stark reminder of just how much their friend had changed over the summer, and the unexpected twists and turns life could take.

As they settled into Macy's living room, Jake and Lola couldn't shake the curiosity gnawing at them. "So, Macy, we were just wondering... are you still planning on going back to practice next week?" Jake ventured, trying to sound casual despite the weight of the question.

Macy chuckled, a sound tinged with a hint of resignation. "Practice? Yeah, I don't think that's in the cards for me anymore," she replied with a shrug, her gaze drifting off into the distance. "I've kind of... outgrown it, if you know what I mean. It turns out abs aren't made in the kitchen."

Lola nodded in understanding, though her expression was tinged with concern. "But Macy, you used to have such determination and discipline. How did you... I mean, how did this happen so quickly?" she asked tentatively, gesturing vaguely to indicate Macy's changed appearance.

Macy's smile faltered slightly at the question, her gaze flickering with a mix of emotions. "It's... complicated," she admitted, her voice trailing off. "Let's just say, sometimes life takes unexpected turns, and you end up on a path you never imagined."

Jake and Lola exchanged a puzzled glance, sensing that Macy wasn't ready to delve into the details just yet. But as they sat in silence, the weight of Macy's words hung heavy in the air—a stark reminder of the unpredictable nature of fate, and the way it could reshape even the strongest of wills.
