Cindy’s story

Chapter 3 set up

Fred stayed up late that night, he couldn’t stop thinking about Cindy. How beautiful she was, how nice it felt when she hugged him, how nice it was just sitting next to her at the movie, watching the stars in her eyes as she munched on popcorn and candies, which then made him wonder if she was enjoying the leftovers now. “What’s wrong with me?” Fred said aloud. “I thought I was better than this, not staying up nervous all night pining over some random woman.” But she was no random woman and Fred knew it. Fred tried to lay down and close his eyes until he fell asleep, but he couldn’t do it. He ended up lying in bed until nearly 2:30 AM, at which point he got what was quite possibly the most welcome phone call he’d ever had.

Meanwhile Cindy had a similar night. But hers had snacks! Cindy also couldn’t sleep, and stayed up thinking of Fred. She snacked on the candy he had given her while thinking of how nice he was. Frank wasn’t exactly ugly, in fact Cindy liked everything about him. His hair made her want to just run her fingers through it. His arms were strong and made Cindy feel safe and loved with each touch. His eyes were pools of chocolate, and thinking about them only made her want to be with him more and more. To try and fulfill her desire for those beautiful chocolate eyes Cindy did the closest thing she could, and filled herself with actual chocolate. Cindy stuffed little chocolate malted milk balls into her mouth, eventually deciding to just lye on her back in bed and open the box, pouring them into her mouth while imagining Fred. Once the box was empty Cindy realized something. Her next box of Reese’s Pieces was her last box of candy from Fred. “I had all but promised him I would enjoy these as much as I could. But right now they’re just a pale distraction from the fact that he is gone.” Cindy murmured to herself before getting her phone out and sighing as she said “One-Thirty A.M.” looking at the clock on her phone. “I can’t wake him up.” She got up and walked to her freezer. “Well, I can’t eat his candy now. It’s just a distraction from a sleepless night if I do that.” She removed a little screw cap tub of chocolate Gelato, saying “Well, it's chocolate brown like his eyes anyway. Close enough, right?” then plunging a spoon into the Gelato. As Cindy ate she couldn’t stop thinking about Fred, and even began to touch herself as she ate and thought of him, lightly rubbing her clit at first. God this felt good. Cindy felt better than she could remember. She lost all control of herself, going faster and faster as her fantasies of Fred turned dirtier and dirtier. Eventually Cindy finished, both the Gelato and herself. But she still felt like she wanted Fred, more badly than before if anything. So, after another twenty minutes or so of trying not to wake him up Cindy gave in and made a call to Fred.

Fred saw the caller I.D. reading “Cindy” and answered the phone before it finished its second ring. Cindy said “Sorry if I’m waking y-“ for Fred to cut her off, saying “You have nothing to apologize for, I couldn’t sleep and was trying to resist the urge to call you, I,” only to be cut off himself by the sound of near hysterical laughter. Once she was able to catch her breath Cindy said “So, we’re in the same boat then.” Cindy wanted to ask about spending the night with Fred, but thought better of it. She wanted to sleep with Fred in the literal sense of entering unconsciousness with her head on his chest. Hell, even after finishing, Cindy wanted to sleep with Fred in the other sense of the word as well. Fred couldn’t stop thinking of the image of Cindy at the movies and wanted to ask Cindy out to another show. He shook his head though, Fred had a better idea. So Fred asked “I know it hasn’t been long at all, but I have tomorrow off work, well, today now I guess. It’s why I was fine watching a late show if you wanted. So, I was wondering. Would you like to come over to my place for dinner later tom- today.” Fred didn’t want to say it, but part of him was thinking of how he hoped that their meeting would go to the bedroom after. The thought made him blush a bit. Not a lot, but enough to be glad that Cindy couldn’t see him right now.

Cindy was excited about being invited over to Fred’s plbeing but she knew she had to play it cool, to keep composed, controlled, collected, “YES YES YES THAT SOUNDS GREAT!!!” Cindy said at the top of her lungs. She could imagine her neighbor grumbling about the noise at this hour, but she didn’t care at all. Somewhere out there a woman rolled over in her bed, awoken by the shouting. She mumbled “She better have won the fucking lotto or something.” Then rolled over and went back to sleep. Meanwhile Fred had a thought much like Cindy’s previous idea. He knew he had to play it cool, to be calm and collected. He didn’t do much better than Cindy did, shouting “AWESOME!!!” at the top of his lungs, before speaking in a quieter, bit still very fast and obviously excited voice, “I’ve never had a girlfriend spend the night at my place! Umm, not that you’re spending the night. Unless you want to I mean, like, you definitely can if you choose, I’d love it, but you don’t have to.”

The two continued to have an excited, if awkward back and forth, fueled by a giddy excitement and taken far off balance by lack of sleep. The two felt like they had spoken for hours, eventually they discovered why. They had talked for hours, the two only managed to say goodbye at 5:48 A.M. at which point Fred checked the time on their phone, before immediately falling asleep. I would say that Cindy mirrored him perfectly, except that she did one thing differently. After saying goodbye Cindy looked at the little bag of Reese’s Pieces and shrugged. “Well. I DID promise I would eat these.” She said as she tore the bag open. Cindy laid down and fished a handful of candy out of the bag, tossing the whole thing into her mouth. Cindy started to touch herself again briefly, but this time she stopped after a moment. Cindy had a plan that she normally wouldn’t consider this soon. The next time she felt anything sexual, Cindy wanted it to be with Fred.

The sun began to shine onto Cindy’s sleepy little home, waking her up shortly after. She stood up and closed her blinds before lying back down to sleep, Cindy didn’t even notice one thing. Her bag of candy was now empty.

When Cindy actually got up her stomach was growling. No surprise there, her “dinner” last night was popcorn and candy. Nothing of substance really. Cindy had an odd thought maybe she shouldn’t have anything until dinner, that way she would enjoy whatever Fred made even more. No, Cindy shook her head, she couldn’t be too hungry when she showed up, then Cindy was afraid she would make a pig out of herself and look bad. She would still eat today, she just wouldn’t have anything especially heavy and filling, that way she’d still be hungry, without feeling like she’s going to starve.

Meanwhile, Fred was deciding what he would make for his date on their first date at his place. “Well, I can make a few basic things, but I’m no chef. So maybe I should stick with something simple?” Or, he thought, maybe he should just order something. Leave the cooking to the professionals. Fred was suddenly struck with an idea. Why not both? He would look up a recipe he could make online, go to the store and get ingredients, then make it and order a pizza for when Cindy arrived. That way she could try out Fred’s own cooking, and still have something to fall back on if she didn’t like it. Fred thought back to the last thing he’d made. He had made a grilled cheese recently, but that was nothing for a date. Fred would have to find something nicer than a grilled cheese to make online.
