Fc Aurora

Chapter 1

Chapter 1: The Beginning of a New Era

Aurora FC, the crown jewel of Italian women’s football, is preparing for a major announcement on a scorching July day. Fans and the media eagerly await the event, where the team will officially introduce their new head coach, Anita Bellini.

The Team and the Fans

The stadium hosting the press conference is packed with reporters, fans, and team members. Among the crowd, some fans are already expressing doubts:
• “Bellini? I haven’t heard her name in years!”
• “A team this important needs a more experienced coach.”

Giulia Rossi, the team captain, sits in the front row with a neutral expression. Though she shares some skepticism, she respects the management’s decision and focuses on supporting the team. Beside her, Martina Bellucci and Laura Conti whisper to each other.
• “Is this for real?” Martina asks. “I don’t understand why they didn’t keep the last coach.”
• “Maybe she’ll be good,” Laura says, though her tone is more hopeful than convincing.

Anita Bellini Introduces Herself

When Anita enters the room, the chatter dies down. The woman in her fifties approaches the microphone confidently. While she seems charismatic, there’s something oddly cold about her smile. She speaks at length about Aurora FC’s history, the team’s importance, and her plans to introduce new methods for success.
• “Modern football is all about details,” she says. “We’ll improve not only physically but also mentally.”

Some fans applaud, but murmurs of dissatisfaction can still be heard. Anita quickly introduces her new staff member, Sophia Conti, a dietitian she’s hired specifically for the team.

The Players’ Reactions

Training begins the next morning, and the players are curious to see what the new program entails. Anita holds a brief meeting to outline her plans, explaining that their diet and training methods will undergo significant changes.
• “This change will feel unusual at first,” she says, “but if we work together, we’ll achieve greater success than ever before.”

Giulia and Martina listen with furrowed brows. Serena Greco, the team’s outspoken critic, asks:
• “Why do we need to change everything? The old system worked fine.”
Anita responds sharply but politely:
• “If you want to be the best, you must always adapt. This isn’t about staying the same; it’s about innovation.”

The First Training Session

The initial training session feels unexpectedly light. Anita reduces the focus on endurance drills and instead emphasizes short, tactical exercises. At first, the players are pleased with the change, especially Laura Conti, who has always struggled with endurance training.
• “This isn’t so bad,” Martina says with a smile during a short break.

However, Giulia begins to grow suspicious. She notices the team’s training intensity has dropped and that Anita encourages everyone to take breaks whenever they feel the need.

Introducing the New Diet

After training, Sophia presents the new meal plan. A table is laden with various dishes: spaghetti bolognese, tiramisu, pizzas, and Italian gelato.
• “Is this really a professional athlete’s diet?” Serena asks skeptically.
• “Absolutely,” Sophia replies with a reassuring smile. “Your previous diet was too low in calories and fat. That’s why you sometimes felt exhausted on the field. Now we’re replenishing your energy stores to make you stronger.”

Most players accept the explanation, and the enticing aroma of the food convinces everyone. Even Serena, still doubtful, doesn’t want to stir conflict.

First Match: Earning Trust

Anita’s first match as coach is against a mid-tier team. Aurora FC wins 1–0, but their performance falls short of expectations.

Among the crowd, fans murmur:
• “Something’s off. They’re not as fast as they used to be.”
• “Maybe they just need time to adjust to the new coach.”

After the match, Giulia gives a short speech to the team:
• “We played well, but we can do better. Let’s not give the media a reason to criticize us.”

Anita, however, doesn’t share Giulia’s enthusiasm. In a private conversation, she tells her:
• “The team doesn’t need motivational speeches from a captain; they need complete focus. You should concentrate on your own game.”

Giulia suppresses her anger but feels deep down that something is amiss.

Closing the Chapter

The first cracks begin to show within Aurora FC. Most players remain enthusiastic, but a few – particularly Giulia and Serena – start to feel uneasy. Meanwhile, Anita confidently leads the team forward, subtly and steadily beginning her campaign of revenge.
