A great team

chapter 3

Chef Ethan was a special man all on his own. Not just for his culinary skills or his ability to guess what people most wanted, but for being as dedicated to Jennifers projects as she was.

He and Greta worked together long nights creating the perfect menus, not only for Jennifers private dining, but for parties and events held by the corporation. He made specially prepackaged meals for clients, and supervised a growing market of mail order foods. It was his ingenious recipes that made their slow growing chain of restaurants so amazing. He could use a list from Greta to invent a menu of items for anything from a fast food joint to a 5 star tasting menu.

And he also took the lists and ideas made by Greta and worked his magic to make some of the most deliciously fattening foods. While he had gotten a kick out of making the perfect cream for funnel feeding (he was thrilled to say that they were getting closer to that solid 2 month feed). He kept Jennifers home stocked with food for her and her niece as well as any type of person they might bring home. He also supervised a team to make sure that no one who worked with the company went hungry at any size or shape.

Especially some of the harder to fill 'workers'.

Ethan was a very private man, so while people knew she had a personal chef, and that she had someone who helped her with the food stuffs and restaurant empire Colton was building, no one knew all those roles were in the same man. And no one knew just how important he was.

Ethan had mastered that art of making someone fat, making their tastebuds dance and their bodies and minds crave another bite. When Jennifer had met in college, she had recognized a kindred spirit. He was the first person she had admitted her tastes to, the first one she told about her dreams and wishes and what she thought she could do with the power behind Colton. The two of them had bonded over their shared dreams and desires, and were thick as thieves. He was the first person she admitted her human trials to, and he not only supported her, but helped her. His work in the kitchen, and his own genius abilities with foods matched with Jennifers science and tech were the true foundation of the new branches of Colton. He was actually a huge stake holder in the company now, he could have gone anywhere done anything he wanted with the money he had earned.

But he stayed on with the title of "personal chef", and would have been insulted if Jennifer had hired anyone else for the job. Though there were times when he was so busy monitoring his staff and duties that he had to send one of his trainees to do the actual cooking and preparing. But if there was a big event, he was always there.

Rounding out her team (if one didn't count her niece and protege Belinda) was psychiatrist Dr. Maryanne Sterling. A curvy plump huggable woman, Dr. Sterling had come on board ages before and was Jennifers personal shrink and helped employees of Colton find the help they needed if they needed it. She had helped Jennifer deal with the losses in her family life, and with relationship issue (the tabloids had once tried to paint Jennifer as the ultimate Bachelorette and a real catch, but had given up as rich scientist women with little social lies were not interesting to their readers). She had never helped her with weight issues since Jennifer had learned to love her body and size bacon college.

Dr. Sterling DID however run a very specialized team within the company. One that helped with a fascinating field of suggestion, and hypnosis. She pioneered several fields of therapy back in her day, fields that may have been considered illegal and inhumane to some. So what if back in day she had been accused by a roommates parents of tricking their son into gaining 125 pounds in the space of a year and turning him into an incommunicative blob that just wanted food and sex all the time. They had no proof. Mostly because she had hidden the medication and hypnosis tapes she had been giving him as well as her detailed notes on her experiment the week before they came to visit. Maryanne had been nothing but 100% professional and ethical with her actual clients (well, except those other clients had hired her to be... less then professional with). Jennifer was her favorite 'client' though they were more business partners now. Dr. Sterling got to have her outside practice and help every day people, as well as console on special fascinating cases. And she continued her experiments, pushing boundaries, making discoveries and helping herself and others have a very fulfilling life. Often more filling then fulfilling. She and Jennifer loved to see what could work better, physical or mental adjustments. Sometimes one worked better then the other, but when the two women put their brilliance together it was magic. Often fat magic.

Dr. Maryanne Sterling also loved helping people. She had worked tirelessness with Jennifer to help her with some of her issues not related to their work. She had helped employees be able to admit to their partners about their secret desires and aid the couples in finding healthy happy mediums.

But she also had no problem creating a program of trigger words the caused a person to crave nothing but fats and crabs. To whisper a word in a young mans ear and watch him unable to stop eating until he finished what was in front of him or passed out. To watch someone who had formerly mocked those they deemed fat and worthless beg on their hands and knees for more food to be shoved down their gullet and be called a fat hog.

Jennifers could never do everything she did alone. She needed a very special team.

Sure, they helped her keep a sexy curvy body at a size she liked, with a level of health she enjoyed. A trainer to get her to do one more rep, a nutritionist to check her intake, a chef to make her meals and a shrink to help her stay mentally fit.

But they also helped her create and shape the bodies of so many others.

"That's what you want to say? That you are lucky to have a team to keep you in this shape?" the reporter wrinkled her nose.

"Oh they do so much more then help with that. But yes, go ahead and say that. I'm lucky to have a team to help me stay fit" Jennifer took a drink from her water wanting the interview to be over. "now do you have anything else to ask about my team or my body mass index? Or do you have questions about the actual company and the work we do here? If you just want to talk about my hips my nutritionist can send you a very detailed list or my trainer can send you something about water aerobics or how standing desks are good for busy schedules"

Darla narrowed her eyes feeling the brush off.

"Yes, your company, why IS such a huge company, one that talks about health and stuff, why do you seem to obsessed with making life easier for fat people?

Jennifer raised an eye brow. "Excuse me"

"Are you trying to make yourself healthier? is that it? I mean Ive seen your niece too, she's rather.. large. Though no ones seen your other niece for a while, she dropped off the social scene. Did she get fat too? Is that why we don't see her? She ate too much of whatever you both ate? I have seen photos of your brother and parents, your whole family seems to be on the large size. Is that why your company is the way it is?"

Jennifer placed both high heeled feet on the floor. "Colton has always prided itself in being inclusive when it comes to health. Everyone deserves to have a healthy life at any size." her voice was clipped.

"Lazy fat people don't" Darla said snidely half under her breath.

Jennifer just began to smile at her

Darla had no idea that behind Jennifer's smile was a whirring of ideas. It was the last comment that had tipped the scales.

Because now Jennifer had decided that Darla should get some first hand experience of her teams skills.

Lucky Jennifer. Not so lucky Darla.

I'm glad you liked the story. I do use spell check and try to proof, but I often miss things due to speeding through. My dysgraphia doesn't help things, but I'm doing my best to put out better things. this one was a rush job, i fully admit.
