chapter 3 - the planning of the party

Todd opened the door to Austin's office and sat down on the only available chair. He sat down. In front of him was a tray filled with ten cupcakes and two dozen cookies.

"Please, help yourself," Austin said.

"Thanks," Todd said. He scarfed down a cookie and a cupcake. He held his second cupcake and asked, "So what's this meeting about?" He stuffed it down his throat.

The two talked about the company and that sales are booming thanks to the project Todd worked on and led. HIs guidance led to the success of the company.

"You're success is going to make us rich! Which is why I would like to throw you a party!" Austin said.

"Really!?" Todd said.

"Of course," Austin said. "I want you to help plan with me too!"

Todd finished the tray. "When should we start?" Todd asked.

"Now," Austin said.

Austin and Todd began to plan out the party. They decided to throw it at the lounge and only coworkers would be invited.

"What food should we have?"

"Hmmm..." Todd thought.

"Don't be shy. Say what's on your mind. And say how much you want."

"Well, if you say so. Let's get about 5 boxes of cookies, 5 boxes of doughnuts, 30 large pizzas - oh and make sure the crust is stuffed with cheese. Let's have about two dozen boxes of chocolate. Let's have about 50 dozen burgers and 15 buckets of fried chicken. We need to have around 20 bags of chips and I've started to like hot dogs, so lets get about 10 dozen of those - oh heck, make it 20 dozen. We gotta have 10 boxes of cinnamon buns and we need a large cake - my favorite is red velvet."

"Alright! Good thing we're just above a hundred people!" Austin said.

"Yea, we don't want this food to go to waste," Todd smiled.

"Of course not!" Austin smiled. "The party is tonight at 11:30pm. Make sure to be here!"

"I won't miss it!" Todd said.

Austin went out work early to go shopping for Todd's party. Instead of buying the exact amount Todd wanted. He actually doubled it. So instead of getting 5 boxes of cookies, he got 10. Instead of getting 50 dozen burgers, he got 100 dozen, et cetera. If there was any leftovers, Austin wouldn't even need to have Andre and Gordon buy food for Todd anymore. Austin can just trick Todd into eating for as long as he wanted. It was going to be a fun week...
