Chapter 5 - 5

Nate explain to Doctor Reed that he simply could not get his mind to shut down so he could sleep he had felt just off and wrong for about a month and wondered if there was some way she could help him. Doc already knew that the truth was Nate was likely feeling guilty for what he had done to Liz his unconscious mind knew even if he didn't want to acknowledge it. Doc made a few notes in Nate's chart and then took out her prescription pad. Writing a medication down she ripped off the page and handed it over to Nate," don't worry' she reassured him, 'these should help quiet your thoughts so you can fall asleep." Taking his prescription Nate thanked Doc Reed and left the exam room. Tapping her pen against her lips the Doc left the exam room and went back to her office. Closing the door behind her she picked up her cell phone and dialed the last number she had called,"Lizzy it's me Anna... have I got amazing news for you," she said an evil smile quirking her lips.

That first night Nate took his sleeping pill about 20 minutes before he was ready to head off to bed. In short order he was out like a light. Liz had a key to Nate's place she had forgotten to give back after everything had happened. It was definitely going to come in handy . Liz and Anna had come up with a perfectly evil plan and it was going to start tonight. Clicking the lock on the door open Liz quietly slipped into Nate's apartment. Tip toeing down the hall to Nate's room she opened the door. Looking inside she could see Nate was very soundly asleep. Quirking a smile Liz softly approached his bed and gently touched his cheek. Nate sighed in his sleep and Liz knew he was definitely to out of it to have any clue what was about to happen to him. Gently pulling back the covers Liz helped him to his feet. Nate obediently followed where Liz led him. He was walking in his sleep completely unaware of what was going on. Liz led him into his kitchen where she sat him in a chair gently tying him to the arm rests to keep him from falling forward. Leaving him for a moment she went back for bags she had left on his doorstep. Placing the bags on the table beside Nate she began pulling out packages of all shapes sizes and color all filled with high calorie treats. Cookies, cakes, chocolates and donuts.

Liz opened the packages and leaving them with on easy reach began to feed Nate all the different confections. Nate seemed to take to this easily enough as Liz whispered quiet encouragements in his ear. Before long he had finished most of the cookies and donuts. He seemed to be slowing down by the time he finished the first bit of cake. Liz took out a warm cloth and cleaning up his face she kissed him on the cheek and un tying him lead him back to his bed where she pulled the covers back up and watched as he seemed to curl up in a ball hugging his full stomach. Leaving the room she put the empty boxes and packages back into some of the bags and hid the rest of the food in a cupboard that was empty and Nate had never seemed to use. Making sure everything was back in its place and she had the bags of trash she left the apartment locking the door behind herself.

In the morning Nate awoke to a bit of a hangover feeling and a wildly sore tummy. Pealing back the covers of his bed he sat on the edge holding his head in his hands for a moment. Finally standing up he went into the bathroom to take his shower before leaving for the day. As he stripped out of his pj's he looked down and noticed his tummy seemed to be a tiny bit distended like it always kind of was after a night of drinking too much beer with his friends. Running a palm over the top he felt the tightness and was completely unsure of why. Weird was his only thought before he shrugged his shoulders and got into a shower. Getting dressed he still felt a bit off but ignoring any sort of small warning bell in his head he finished getting ready skipping breakfast as strangely for once when he woke up in the morning he was not very hungry.

Later that morning after Liz woke up from her late night activity she called Anna on the phone. "It's worked Anna! you should have seen him just scarfing down all that junk food it was amazing." Anna laughed and asked if he had woken up at all. "Not even a little it was like he was on complete auto pilot I don't know what those pills were, but, trust me he doesn't have even the slightest clue. I have a feeling this is going to work out quite well." Anna was pleased her friend seemed almost happy again, but, she did give her the warning to be careful the last thing she wanted was to see poor Nate choke or something. Liz assured her friend she was careful and took her time so he could chew it before swallowing. "I bet he is going to be having some rather wild dreams with all of this," Liz laughed and after talking for a few more minutes they hung up. Put her cell back into her bag Liz went over the whole night in her mind again and found to her surprise she was actually turned on by it. Who would have thought seeing Nate in her control would be so sexy.

That afternoon Nate finally got hungry and was surprised at just how much he had managed to put away before he had to get back to work. Liz had tried while she fed him to encourage this sort of behavior even while he was awake. She had no idea if it would work at all, but, she had to try. Nate seemed to be eating without thinking of just how much he had actually ordered for lunch. Yet by the time he was a bit more than half way through he started to feel that little voice in his head screaming at him" Hey FULL!! ENOUGH ALREADY!!" Today it just somehow seemed kind of turned down almost a bit fuzzy like a badly tuned radio. He heard it and it was kind of annoying background noise in his head but he was able to ignore it until he finished everything in front of him. Then it was like someone turned the dial and he knew what he had done he just didn't know why. The same thing seemed to happen to him that night when he went home after work and made dinner... that badly tuned radio still playing in his mind that same message somehow lost.

Finally after watching a bit of television and checking his email it was time to head back off to bed.
