The student

chapter 4

Mia had passed out on the couch. All her eating had exhausted her. When she woke up, it was around noon the next day and she didn't have any classes. Stretching, she made her way to the kitchen.

For the better part of an hour she worked on cooking a big breakfast, but when she tasted it, the food was horrible. She gave up and decided on eating two bowls of sugary cereal and some PopTarts instead. Though she hadn't felt full at the time, she was felt full from the food the night before. She could only stomach a bowl of cereal and a couple PopTarts before she started feeling sick.

She pulled out her phone and texted her dad:
'Hey, so I think I need a cook. I never noticed how bad I am in the kitchen. Can you hire one for me?'
'Of course. Anything for my favourite daughter. I'll hire one of the chefs from my restaurants. Be warned, though, he might only know how to cook comfort foods, not any of your health foods.'
'That's fine with me. I've been changing my habits lately.'

An hour later, Mia was starting to get hungry again when the doorbell rang. When she answered it, she saw a scrawny, balding man with a thick mustache standing on her doorstep.
"Hello, I am Edmund. I am your cook now. I will be here at 6 am and leave at 10 pm every day of the week," Edmund barked in a thick accent that she couldn't quite place.
"Oh. Oh okay. I didn't know you'd come so soon, but it's nice to meet you." She smiled. Edmund ignored her and disappearing into the house. He seemed odd, but it didn't matter. As long as the food was good.

Mia headed to her office to work on her fashion designs. A while passed and she heard someone step into the room. She swivelled her chair around to see Edmund standing with a platter of scrambled eggs, a stack of pancakes drenched in syrup, six strips of bacon and a tall glass of orange juice.
"Wow that's a lot of food! It looks amazing, Edmund."
He said nothing and placed the food on her desk before briskly walking out of the room. She began eating the food. The food made her crazy. It was incredibly delicious, each bite rich with flavour. She didn't stop eating until she was done, and all that was left on the large plates were crumbs. She leaned back and closed her eyes. Her stomach was so full it hurt, but strangely, for some reason she was already wondering about what the next meal would be. The food was simply intoxicating. She knew she had to work but she simply didn't care. She texted Mike to come over and drifted off to sleep.

Actually I don't think it feels rushed. Like I said before. 3 to 5 lbs a week or more is easily possible. I knew a thin track runner who gained 8 lbs in one week of vacation completely by accident. So you're doing Great

Thanks for the input! I am trying to make this a bit of a shorter story than my first one, so that's why some things might seemed rushed and I apologize for that.

I'm looking forward to how well you handle realistic gaining. With the chef and the Chocolate binges it would be reasonable for her to gain 3 to 5 lbs a week steadily. Even a little bit more sometimes. Maybe a weigh in soon?

Keep going. It's a great concept. Plus you write "clean ". i.e. You have good spelling and punctuation.
