chapter 27 settling in

Elaine had one night without the tube in her nose. Sunshine called the next day though, before breakfast to put another tube down and restart the feed as before.
Elaine felt like a queen in her new surroundings. She had her own carer and her own cook. She could call on either one if them whenever she wanted. All she glad to do was lie about in bed or on the sofa all day and eat.
She felt half starved after her day of deprivation the day before, so she ate with even more gusto.
Sunshine showed Elaine's new carer how to look after her tube and her feed. Her feed rate even went up another 100mls/hr, 24 hours a day. She was now consuming three litres of liquid feed a day, plus all of her ordinary food. She had to be consuming somewhere between 15,000 and 20,000 calories a day, every day. And she continued to put on weight fast.
Her skin had to stretch to accommodate her new bulk. Her first stretchmarks had appeared on the side of her belly, but then she got them on the side of her breasts, her upper arms, her bum and thighs. The lower half of her belly was covered in them now. She did not care about her stretch marks or how she looked, she just wanted to eat!
As she grew even bigger, towards forty stones, she became even more reluctant to do things for herself.
She hated going to the toilet because it was such and effort. She hated showering because she saw it as a lot if wasted time when she could be eating.
The only thing she didn't mind doing instead if eating was sleeping.
In the end her carer gave in to her. She allowed her to wear giant nappies so that she didn't have to go to the toilet so often. She allowed her to have a shower just once every other day. She let her stay in bed some days, until finally, she couldn't get out if bed at all!
By then, when she sat up in bed, her belly was so big that it pushed her legs apart and rested on the bed in front of her. Her buttocks extended from one side of the double bed to the other. Her breasts hung on either side of her giant belly.
She didn't bother with trousers anymore. They were too awkward to get on and uncomfortable. She'd abandoned underwear for the same reason. Instead she wore a specially made tent like dress that just about covered her, but did nothing to support her pendulous breasts and jiggling flesh.
She had to be hoisted to the bathroom and hoisted for sheet and nappy changes. But she could not have been happier. All her life she had been trying to turn other people into super morbidly obese, lazy, greedy, slovenly eating machines, when that was exactly what she had become.
