"Oh Ossy," she said, "Oh no." She pointed at the ground behind him.

Ossy looked down. There, on the dirt, was an iridescent leaf glittering in the sunlight. Ossy stared at it. It wasn't a leaf. It was a broken wing.

It took four strong pixies to lift Ossy and carry him home. He was distraught to learn that he would never fly again. Other pixies brought him food, but it was never enough. He was always hungry, except when Petal came to visit.

One day, Petal zoomed in. She handed him a big bottle of nectar and coaxed him into climbing onto the back of her friend, Jack Robin. They landed in an airy chamber inside a tree.

"Look," said Petal, pulling Ossy to the doorway. "Look at all the flowers."

The field outside was covered in a riot of colours: white, pink, yellow, red, blue, and even some like the purple one that had gotten him in trouble.

"Very nice," said Ossy, without enthusiasm.

"And look at this," said Petal, producing a long hollow reed. "With this you can reach any flower here, without needing to fly at all."

Ossy grabbed the reed and snaked it out, sucking on the end as it settled into a pool of nectar. He slurped up the tasty stuff, then moved on to another, and another, sampling all the flavours. Finally he slipped the reed into one of the purple flowers.

Thus began a new stage of Ossy's gluttony. He could feed himself to stuffed satiation many times a day, without having to expend the energy to fly. Often Petal would visit him and they'd satisfy other urges, but she always took the active role.

She marvelled at how he grew. It seemed that he was visibly fatter every time she saw him. His face became found and fat, shadowed by half a dozen chins. His moobs fattened and flopped, his back widened and formed rolls, his belly grew higher and wider until it nearly covered his knees. His fat thighs disappeared, though chubby calves and feet were still visible. He rarely used them anymore.

It became difficult for Petal to find Ossy's member under all that fat, but neither of them minded a bit. His gain was sexy enough.
