Chapter 5 - reaching parity

Sami continued his pace eating, and started teasing "super skinny" Allison who always lost weight during basketball season. He also joked that if he kept pace, he would be taller than her before the school year ended. Allison gradually found herself being attracted to the growing boy just down the hallway. By Valentines Day Sami was back up to his peak weight of 184 pounds and continued enjoying the food.

With every additional pound, Sami was looking more like the super senior he was and less like the survivor he used to be. He delighted in receiving more attention from women around campus, and really felt like he was blossoming. As basketball season faded to a close Allison invited him to the gym for a workout. He had to buy new shorts because none of his old shorts fit. His first step was to stand on a scale which read 195 pounds. They started out doing 20 minutes of cardio, but Sami had to slow down to four miles per hour after ten minutes because he was seating so profusely. With every step his entire body jiggled, something in contrast to the sleek muscles on Allison. Although she was still a little taller than him, increasingly he looked into her eyes with more than just lust. Allison found his little tummy adorable, and as they ran next to each other on the treadmill dreamed about what would happen next.

A few weeks later Sami had another medical check-up. The doctor said that his notes must be wrong---it was only possible to believe the sixty pound weight gain in conjunction with a major height gain. Now standing a full six feet tall Sami could look Allison eye to eye, even though he outweighed her by dozens of pounds. The doctor said that it was quite improbable, but not unheard of, for someone to have such a late growth spurt. The doctor furthermore said that Sami should start to be a little more careful about his eating opportunities. Allison found it incredible adorable that they were now the same height, and loved how Sami made her feel small and protected.
