12/15/24 R&D Final Meeting, UT

"All of this is well and good but how can we expect to keep up with food production. Your...um, atom smash thingy, it can't keep up could it?" Scot, the scientist in front of him smiled.

"I promise you sir, we've thought of everything. We have a system of underground farms that can supply your town, to keep up with demand we've created a chemical that can grow the crops at an alarming rate. It was part of a experimental fertilizer that we actually picked up from the farmland that you are currently using. Tests show that it even is able to enhance the taste of foods making them better than a real life ambrosia!" Ryan sat back and put his hand to his chin.

"Impressive, are there any adverse health effects?"

"Actually the opposite, it seems that our foods keep away things like heart disease, diabetes and plaque build up. Incredible isn't it?"

1/6/25 Paradise Scarlett's Home

The next few days showed Scarlett just how easy it would be to let go and start to embrace the life of the city. The food only seemed to be getting better with every bite while her workout became something that felt less and less important. It was on monday that she finally noticed it creep up on her when she couldn't quite fasten her jeans. Tugging and pulling she walked into the bathroom to check her weight.

Her eyes bugged out and she stopped trying to fasten her jeans. Slowly she fondled every new curve as she checked herself out in the mirror. There wasn't a huge change yet but she did notice her stomach softening and her hips a little wider. Most noticeable was easily her chest. Scarletts poor bra was already struggling with what once had been a manageable B cup was now not quite a C but already much tighter than was comfortable.

"N.E.A. can you size me for a new outfit and leave the clothes on my bed?"

"Of course Scarlett. Your shower is warmed and ready to go." She slipped out of her uncomfortable undergarments and let the water roll over her. It wasn't long before she stepped out and looked for her previous clothes but they were nowhere to be found.

"Scarlett, I can see that you are looking for your clothes. Worry not, I've disposed of your previous wardrobe and recreated all the clothing pieces a size up for your recent weight gain."

"Oh, I was going to use those again though. I can just lose the weight."

"And when you do I'll give you a better fitting attire." She frowned a bit at the acceptance of her new size but shrugged. She could only really blame herself for it.

"For today's outfit I suggest the daisy dukes and white blouse. You have the day with Andrew. Don't be afraid to undo the top button or two, he seems to appreciate busty girls."

"N.E.A. should you be telling me that?"

"No, but I won't tell if you don't." Scarlett smiled and looked at the blouse. It only had 3 buttons on it that lead down from the neckline. After slipping into it and the shorts she undid the top two buttons while slowly meandering for the door. Suddenly on her way over, Scarlett realized how badly she wanted Andrew. It hadn't just appeared but slowly he had been on her mind giving her fantasies that she wouldn't dare to voice. Rounding the fence that separated their front yards she made her way to his front door and rapped on the wood.

Andrew had told her that he had plans. This was a lie. He actually didn't know what she liked or appreciated and was last minute panicking while trying to think up something fun to do.

"N.E.A. I don't actually know what I want to do with her." The computer voice beeped a short hello before replying.

"Well from her habits she can't resist some good food. Take her to the foodcourt at the mall and walk around. She might enjoy just spending time with you. No need to do anything crazy." Andrew paused and thought about it. He actually hadn't yet seen the mall but knew where it was.

A looming giant, the Oasis Mall was actually dug into the ground with a glass top above it. Guests could walk on top of the glass to see all the small shops along the way and pick up food or simply sit by. Businesses didn't really exist but the illusion of them was a nice environment and allowed for something to do out of the home. Tossing his arms up he realized that it was a better plan than he had.

"Sure I suppose that'll do. How do I look?"

"You look lovely."

"Well thank you N.E.A." Andrew had on a simple red t shirt and jeans. He slipped his sandals on and moved to go watch TV but before he could manage to sit, there was a knock at the door. N.E.A. chimed in.

"Guess who."

"I think I can." Andrew opened the door to be stunned immediately by Scarlett's incredible look. Her top was low enough to show off a modest amount of cleavage, her shorts high enough to tease her things, her hair was ever so slightly curled and fell to just below her shoulder. She glanced up and smiled.

"Woah..." Scarlett giggled and beckoned to the waiting car.

"C'mon let's not waste any time." Watching her walk to the car was worth the stress and prep of the day. Seeing her hips sway to the car made him forget all about what was planned. She crawled into the car and laid down to stare at the ceiling monitor. Andrew crawled in shortly after and lay beside her.

"Alright N.E.A. You know where we're going."

"Yes sir" Scarlett turned on her side to look at him.

"And where are we going?" Her chest was almost ready to fall out of the blouse but Andrew picked his jaw up and answered.

"That'll be a surprise."

The mall was huge. Shops were this way and that. It seemed like a large amount of food stalls were present. Almost nothing healthy. Here and there ads seemed to pop up that seemed almost out of place for a society that didn't need them. Scarlett took note of a few.

"Paradise Pizza, take yourself to another world!"

"Cloud 9 Cake, Indulge and have a bite!"

"Slippery Hills Soda is recommended by 77/80 residents!"

All ads for food she noticed a couple other ads, one for clothing and another for a romantic toy shop that made her blush but most of it was food.

"Well I was thinking we could get chinese food, did you have a craving for something Scarlett?"

"Well, actually I've probably already spent all my calories I can. I think the foods been adding to my waistline."

"Oh c'mon. You didn't come all the way out here just to look around." She glanced at the many food places and landed her eye on one in particular. A deep frying stand that boasted having deep fried anything

"I really shouldn't. I've been trying to work on my swimsuit figure so I can use my hot tub." Andrew bellowed a laugh.

"Your hot tub has a weight limit?"

"Well no but I want to look nice."

"Stop, you've baited the fishing line enough. You look gorgeous, really! I feel like the luckiest guy around. Besides, who's going to judge." Biting her lower lip she looked back at the deep frying stand.

"Andrew..."

"Y es?"

"You are the worst influence." She grabbed his hand and dragged him to the stand. A happy robot was behind the counter deep frying a cell phone.

"Hi, can I have some deep fried bacon?" The robot tooted two cheery beeps and dropped a boatload of bacon in the deep fryer.

"And she'll have some deep fried twinkies too." Scarlett tugged his arm but didn't say anything. Giving him a stink eye she rested her head against his shoulder and grumbled slightly although she was enjoying it.

"For me give me a fried burger and fish and chips." Once the food was ready they walked to the table area and took a seat. The crowds of people also seemed to have taken to the large selection of fatty foods. Everywhere she looked happy people were stuffing their faces. Girls scarfing down on burritos, guys chomping down steaks. She began to wonder if this was what happened if people had the resources and freedom.

"How's the food?" Andrew asked, snapping her back to the at hand task. Scarlett hastily bit into the bacon and took a mouthful of twinkie. Cheeks stuffed full she sputtered out

"I wuv et."

After the meal they headed back to the street where their ride awaited them. The sun was just starting to set off in the distance and as they exited the car she once again felt like she had overdone it. Getting out she held her lower back and rubbed her stomach. Andrew too had probably eaten a little too much. Heading to the white picket fence that separated their yards she stopped.

"I had a lovely time, although we really should probably try and be healthier about our outings next time."

"Nonsense." Andrew waved his hand at her request "I loved getting to indulge with you. Did you not enjoy it"

"Well, I did but"

"Then cherish it. Next time we can try something else. Maybe a movie? Our first town exclusive is coming out."

"Alright, I think I'd like that."

"How does this Friday sound? The 10th."

"That sounds nice, actually."

"It's a date?" Andrew leaned in.

"It's a date." Scarlett leaned in to meet him. Letting her lips embrace his. Her breath was taken away and joy flooded her body. He smiled and pressed his forehead against hers.

"I'll see you then."
