chapter 1

Hi my name is Kelly and this the story of my experience at a new school. I moved to the Houston area my senior year. That year I attended West Springfield High. It was a small school of about only 700 or so. I had been homeschooled my whole life due to severe bullying. I was bullied for being fat. I was a little more than fat. At the age of 18 I weighed 654 pounds. On the first day of school I was really nervous. The night before I packed my bag. I brought my school supplies, 3 sandwiches, 3 brownies, 3 bags of chips. I also packed 2 diapers. I have to sometimes wear diapers because I am too big to fit through the bathroom door. This is extremely embarrassing but has happened on a few vacations. I had not visited the school so I didn’t know how big the bathroom stalls were. To be safe my mom decided I should put on a diaper before school. After I ate pancakes, eggs, and cereal, my mom pulled out the diaper. I took off my pants and layers on the bed. As she strapped the diaper on she told me “maybe if we shed a couple of pounds of your big belly we could we fit in normal stalls” she jiggled my belly. She was right. I was 650 plus pounds and only 5’3 the weight was all in my ass and belly. We drove to school and I walked into the gym where everyone was standing. We waited around for about 20 mins until we went to class. My first class was math an I had to walk up stairs. I hate stairs. Finally I got to math late and went to sit down. As soon as I put my ass in the chair it broke into pieces. Everyone started laughing and the teacher was mad. “This *** just broke a chair!” She yelled. “Try this one, it’s reinforced. It’s for students like you” I took the chair and sat down. This one also stood no chance and broke. Everyone burst into laughter. The teacher pulled me to the front of the room. “This is why we don’t overeat kids!” She yelled and slapped my belly. I ran out of the room crying. I ran to the bathroom. I opened up a stall and tried to step in but my butt wouldn’t let me. I slid to the side but my belly wouldn’t let me budge. As I said earlier, I was used to this.
