The spiral and the big-mac sauce

Alex worked in a McDonald's in central Paris. He served dozens and dozens of people a day. All day long he ran between the counter and the kitchen for very low pay. Customers were always impatient. They wanted to be served as quickly as possible. And Benjamin must meet their fat needs. At the end of the day, quite often, his colleagues would sit down on a table in the fast food restaurant. Tired and hungry by their daily effort, they often let themselves go ... After all, it doesn't hurt! A Big Mac here, a few fries there. A big coke to quench your thirst. A good ice cream topped with caramel to reward yourself. The McDonald's employees were having so much fun. It was clearly the best time of the day for them. But Alex never took anything. Not even a wrap or a tray of fries. He wanted to eat healthy and the smell of fat bothered him. He therefore hurried, as soon as the shift was over, to get home. Alex did not like the world of McDonald's at all. Some of his clients have increased several times a week. He saw them getting bigger and bigger from week to week. His colleagues too, with their evening menus, have become more and more important. Alex didn't want to end up like this. He wanted to stay muscular for the girls and athletic to beat his soccer buddies.

And then one evening everything changed. He had just returned home. After removing his work clothes that reeked of the Big-Mac's secret sauce, he decided to cook some carrots in olive oil. With a little rice on the side. While waiting for his exemplary meal to finish cooking, he settled down on his sofa. Like all young people his age, he began to look at his phone. And then there, Alex frowned a little. There was a somewhat bizarre application on the home screen ... A red circle with a clown in its center. He immediately recognized. It was of course the clown Ronald McDonald. The mythical emblem of the hamburger chain. The children's friend. Alex was really taken aback. It was still super weird. What was this thing doing on his iPhone? He decided to click on it. By making this tiny gesture, without knowing it, his life had changed.
