Chapter 3 - wrong direction

Ed decided not to leave Katie yet- she seemed determined to lose the weight. He could avoid taking her anywhere for a few weeks until she worked it off. They didn't go out much anyway. Life went back to normal for a while, and he didn't notice that Katie continued to eat nonstop and didn't make it to the gym even once.

She piled more weight on. It was getting impossible to hide. Her jeans were now totally useless, they all stopped about halfway up her chunky thighs. Her yoga pants would fit, but were stretched so thin she was afraid to even sit down. All she had left were old sweats, once so roomy that they wouldn't stay up. They now clung to her legs and dug into the soft flesh beneath her belly.

Her belly was even harder to disguise. She didn't want to admit it, but it was a full fledged gut now. She didn't have any tops that she could pull over it anymore, so she just had to let it hang out.

She could feel people look at her at work, in the grocery store, anywhere she went. She avoided seeing family and friends- at least strangers didn't realize how fast she got fat. She would lose the weight soon and then go visit everyone. Once she wasn't chubby anymore and got her toned flat stomach back.

Finally, after another month, Ed was home relaxing and remembered to check on her progress. He found her in the kitchen- she spent a lot of time there these days- eating cookie dough straight from the tub. Not even using a fork, just shoving it into her face.

He was shocked- she got so much fatter! She clearly wasn't dieting or working out. Her chubby thighs now touched all the way to her knees. Her ass was so big you could see it from in front of her. Her arms and face looked bloated and round. And her belly... her belly was huge. It puffed out inches in front of her, even further than her boobs. If her shirt covered it, someone may have thought she was five months pregnant. But no one would mistake that wobbly gut for a baby bump. It was far too jiggly and ridden with cellulite.
