Claire's fattening life as maryanne

Chapter 9

Austin nodded and continued on with dinner. He looked at his growing wife rubbing her belly while she slept, smiling and hoping that one day, her mother would accept her for the glutton that she is, not for the skinny daughter that she once had, and maybe help her be even bigger.



Over the holidays, Maryanne was getting her overfill of food and Austin was fixing and feeding her every bite of it. He encouraged her to be even fatter all the while, and just before Midnight New Year’s Eve, she stepped on the scale.

“Well, you did it, honey,” Austin said, “You made it to 750 by the end of this year, and now it’s time to set a New Year’s Resolution so we can plan accordingly.”

“That’s great, Austin,” Maryanne exclaimed as she waddled back to the couch, “I was thinking of going for a thousand pounds for my resolution.”



“Keep up all this eating and you will by March. I do have a surprise for you.”

“Yay! I love surprises! What is it?!”

“Well, I was looking into moving somewhere--to a place that you can grow even more. I finally found it when I was talking to a customer a year or so ago. He told me about this place where all these people go there to be fat as they wish. They even help people reach their goals they have. Think about it: you’ll be even fatter than you dreamed, even more. You could be the fattest person there!”

“That does sound wonderful. But I mean, I can’t really fly or even take a train or bus.”

“You don’t have to. I’m making all the arrangements with that customer. I already got us a huge van to travel in and I’ve been saving and paying for us to go there all this time, even before you ran away from home.”

“So, when do we leave? I want to be at this paradise now!”

“How about we leave now?”

“I thought you never ask.”



As everyone else around them were celebrating the new year, Maryanne and Austin were headed to paradise. Headed there as quickly as humanly possible, they reached their destination after almost 3 days of driving and stopping to eat. Maryanne finally stepped out of the van and waddled in the welcome center as Austin was getting the rest of her drive-thru food they acquired earlier.

“Hog Heaven: The fattest paradise on Earth,” Maryanne read as she waited for someone at the front desk, “I like this place already.”
