Chapter 2 - december 31, 2141 - night

"You'll be staying here, bud," the heftier officer said,

"But, this is a cafeteria..." I said.

"No, it's a private cafeteria," the officer began. "This cafeteria is only for you. We'll start your training early tomorrow morning. For now, I'd like you to take a small look around and get comfortable with your surroundings. I want to make sure you're ready for tomorrow."

"What's tomorrow?" I asked.

"We're going to make you gain over 100 pounds."

"Th-That's impossible!" I yelled.

"We'll see," the officer smiled and locked the cafeteria door. I waited a minute until I heard a car engine. I tried opening the door. No luck. It didn't budge. What am I to do? What're they gonna do? How are they gonna do it? It's impossible. It's physically impossible. There's no way on Earth they can make me gain over 100 pounds just tomorrow.

January 1, 2142 - dawn

Apple came out with a new product, The iBar. iBars are good left alone, but Apple marketed it in a way that they should substitute flour with iBar Mix, which also came out today. This must be what the officer meant by me gaining over 100 pounds. It would be possible because of the newly released iBar. A big day was ahead of me... I could feel it...

The door was unlocked. Loads of hefty men carried in packages with the label "Apple" slapped on the side of the box. Looks like the department just laid their hands on some iBars...

The heftier officer came in once more. He had an iBeat in his hand. "You're gonna need these," he said.

I galred and put on the iBeats. "You know, I never did catch your name," I said.

"My apologies," he said. "Officer Ha-," he paused.

"Is there a problem, officer," I asked.

"You can just call me, err, uh-" he paused. "Officer Hefty," he smiled.

"Of course you want me to call you that," I mumbled.

"Yep! I take pride in my fat!" Hefty slapped his belly and it wobbled for a good minute or two. "I hope you're ready, because it'll start in about half an hour."
