Even fatter - a fantasy feeder anthology

Hi folks. Instead of a prompt this month, I thought we would showcase the new anthology that was just released through the site called Even Fatter.

You can check it out here: 🔗fantasyfeeder.com/store/view 🔗

It has 10 original short stories by Fantasy Feeder authors, all about 15,000 words each (so 50-60 pages in a book), edited and nicely packaged.

Here's the list:

* Fatter IRL - Story by Chickenshack
* Three Fat Orcs - Story by Battybattybattybat
* Her One True Love - Story by LJRockarts
* Mirror Mirror - Story by Heyson1313
* Crimson Hunger - Story by Mrs Pastry
* Fat Liberation Underground Fighting Force - Story by hiccupx
* Price of Love - Story by Miss Chapters
* The Lesson - Story by PunchDrunk
* Nobody's Wife - Story by Letters And Numbers
* Fit for a Queen - Story by Chickenshack

So what I thought might be interesting is to get a few of the authors in the thread to talk a little bit about their story(s), what inspired them or anything they found interesting about the process, and talk about what else they're working on. I've heard back from a few already, so it should be fun.

If there are questions or comments, please leave them, too! Hope you enjoy and I hope you check out the anthology.

Even fatter - a fantasy feeder anthology

And I guess I'll kick it off:

“Nobody’s Wife” was inspired by/a retelling of the Leonard Cohen song “Famous Blue Raincoat”, with a twist for Fantasy Feeder. If you’ve never heard the song, the conceit is that the writer is up at four in the morning, writing a letter to his (literal or figurative) brother. It tells a melancholy story that suggests a love triangle involving his wife and this other figure, with maybe a redemption at the end.

The story picks up where the song ends, with Lawrence and Jane living in the Lower East Side of New York City in 1970/1971. They don’t speak much about the season that Jane spent away from Lawrence, living with the enigmatic Paul in California. She came back to Lawrence, that’s all that matters. She came back happier—and heavier. Their marriage had a spark again, but as winter grew long and the days grew shorter, Jane became distant again.

If Lawrence brings Paul back into their lives, will Jane return to him again? And will she gain again? That question fascinates him.

I really loved writing this story. I had wanted to write something based on Famous Blue Raincoat for a while, since it asks so many questions and doesn’t give any answers (which is what makes it such a great song). I think it’s just such a great mood to write in. I also loved writing in NYC in the early 70’s. I had some touchstones through other books, music, and movies (Patti Smith’s Just Kids was probably the biggest help, and I was able to get Patti and Robert Mapplethorpe into a scene in the background), but I did a lot more research than I thought I was going to. It was all fun, trying to find out if certain buildings were there or built later, planning out some walking routes and what you would have seen 55 years ago, stuff like that. Fashion was fun and tricky.

The characters are all pretty broken, but in different ways. I guess that’s what I write, though. Paul was fun to write, something of a bullshit artist who probably used to be better at selling his bullshit. I think there’s something interesting about Jane, too. She has scenes where you see her passion and sensuality, and other scenes where she’s tired of it all. I think that’s human.

So, I hope you check it out and all the other stories! To plug something I’m working on now, I have a premium story called 🔗“The Wind Blows High”🔗 that I’ve been working on for WAY too long (I’m sorry to everyone following along!). It’s another period piece, just more recent. Summer/fall 1996. It starts off at a Phish show where the MC is spun out and separated from her pack. She ends up on a cherry red bus, getting talked down and preached to by a slick character who takes in troubled tour kids like her. The seeds are planted for her to give up her old life and join their commune. It’s primarily a horror/suspense story. Trying to do weekly chapters, it’s more like every 2 weeks.

Even fatter - a fantasy feeder anthology

I actually wrote and submitted two very different stories, one in a realistic modern setting and one in a fantasy setting.

"Fatter IRL" was inspired by various accounts from different men about feeling catfished after meeting a girl off of Tinder or another dating site and discovering that she's gained weight since taking her photos. In this case, the girl is several hundred pounds heavier and the protagonist, not an FA, finds himself initially compelled to stay for the date out of morbid curiosity as to how she could have possibly transformed from the 120 pound girl in her profile into the 900+ pound girl in front of him. The story is told from a first person perspective, and it was a change of pace to try to describe the point of view of a non-FA as he slowly finds himself becoming more and more attracted to a hyper obese woman even though he's never had interest in one before.

The story really tries to capture the social awkwardness of being in your twenties, like going on blind dates, worrying about other peoples' judgment and opinions, being nervous about putting yourself out there, how we end up being shaped by overbearing parents and all of the fun things we'd rather forget lol. It made it easy to get lost in writing it because of how well I ended up relating to both the male and the female characters but for different reasons.

For "Fit For a Queen", I decided to go in the exact opposite direction and set it in a fictional kingdom with magic. This story was more of an original idea, wherein a princess is forced by tradition to marry once she reaches a certain age and has no idea how to select a suitor. She ends up consulting the fattest of her handmaidens, who describes to her how being frequently fed and pampered has led to the most romantic experiences of her life.

I greatly enjoy the fantasy setting because of how creative it pushes you to be when it comes to world building. There are way fewer limits to what you can do with concepts and characters when the element of magic is present, allowing for pretty outrageous things that would normally break suspension of disbelief. A great example of that would be the title character being a 3000 pound princess whose only form of movement is being levitated off of the ground. I could picture myself revisiting the fantasy setting in some fashion in the near future.

As for what I'm writing now, feel free to check it out when you can! My commissions are open and I'm just a DM away smiley

It was an honor to be asked to participate in this great compilation of fiction, along with these other fantastic authors. Here is a little bit about my contribution, a story called "Her One True Love."

"Her One True Love" is the story of Melissa Tomaino, a young BBW with a long-standing crush on a guy from her high school days named Bobby Elliman. Bobby is a small-time local musician, a one-hit wonder with a charismatic but dubious reputation. Their reunion stirs Melissa's deep-seated desires, leading her into a romantically feedist relationship with Bobby.

Driven by his persistent encouragement and her own gluttonous tendencies, Melissa undergoes a dramatic transformation, gaining a significant amount of weight in order to fulfill Bobby’s deepest and most devious feedist fantasies. While she revels in the newfound attention and indulgence, her dependence on Bobby grows both physically and emotionally.

The relationship becomes increasingly exploitative as Bobby's ambitions and neglect leave Melissa completely immobile and feeling isolated. Her dependency and self-image are manipulated under the guise of love, culminating in Bobby’s abrupt departure for Los Angeles, ostensibly to revive his music career. Melissa is left feeling heartbroken, betrayed, and trapped under the consequences of her life choices.

The story juxtaposes Melissa's inner turmoil with the voyeuristic intrigue of her friend Katrina, who grapples with her own conflicted emotions toward Melissa's weight gain. |

I had a lot of fun writing this story. As with many of the stories I write, I took it as an opportunity to explore many of my own personal thoughts, feelings and fantasies regarding feedism and fat admiration. I hope that you'll check out this compilation and that you'll enjoy reading this story and the others, and maybe you will also find something that you can personally relate to.

Currently I am working on several new stories. I just completed a teenage summer romance story called "The Camp Across The Pond" which I will likely be publishing here on Fantasy Feeder sometime in the next few weeks. I've got a story called "The Feed" about a disgraced debutante who finds herself mixed up in a world of forced-feederism and online exhibitionism, and I'm almost finished with a sort of Mardi-Gras themed story called "After Fat Tuesday." I've got a few other things lined up for the future as well, including some "full length" novella type stories.

Mirror Mirror was actually originally going to to be for my subscribers as a Halloween-themed story sent out in installments. It was inspired by the cover image of “Weight and Sea” by SightsAndSounds where Eliza is looking at a reflected and fatter version of herself.

M.M. follows a young bartender who’ falls prey to a carnival curse, causing her to inflate to sizes seen in funhouse mirrors. She works to find a cure before she’s too immobile to crack the case!

Working with c00kie and the team has made me a better writer. I’ve done a lot of editing for authors over the years, but I’m often blind to my own writing. The team effort was felt and I hope you all enjoy the anthology as much as the writers!

Even fatter - a fantasy feeder anthology

Three Fat Orcs was really fun to write. I got to use my love of super fat monsters in a productive way! I was interested in exploring what a feeder would experience going into a pre-existing polycule with a variety of power dynamics already in play.

Eiluna, the half-elf woman, is looking for safety in the short term, but ultimately is seeking belonging. These three orcs are, in theory, her enemies as far as their heritage goes, and their reactions to her vary by age. She needs to win over the orcs with her cooking and her compassion, and, I think, does well at both.

There’s also some fun varieties of solo feeding, male on male eroticism, and a wonderful and passionately fun orgy to wrap things up. It’s a little ode to domestic, cozy feeding, to building understanding across cultures, to cooking as diplomacy, and to hot, fat men kissing other hot, fat men.

I am also opening up to commissions again after taking some time away. It was a pleasure to be able to contribute to this anthology!

Fat Liberation Underground Fighting Force (FLUFF)
---------------------------------------------

This story was based on an original concept sent to us by Belly Empire.

It's a James Bond style concept, in which Staff Sergeant John Chapman, a veteran of the Iraq wars, is coerced into training the cadets of the underground organisation FLUFF in high explosives, his reward appealing to his greatest weakness, a sexual appetite for very fat women.

FLUFF has been set up by the evil villain Domina Blimp, an extraordinarily obese woman herself, to force her twisted view of fat acceptance throughout the world. She believes the only way to truly rid the world of fat discrimination is for absolutely everybody to be obese. The problem is that as her ideologically driven cadets become increasingly fatter, they also tend to become lazier and less capable. However, that doesn't deter them from working towards their mission of bringing their cause to the world's attention, by blowing up those skinny waifs at the Miss World competition.

Can Staff Sergeant John Chapman, drag himself away from his voluptuous temptresses long enough to save the day, and what will ultimately become of the evil Domina Blimp?

Everyone's insight to their stories was incredibly fun to read! May check out this collection.

You all make me want to dive back into writing again. After my Before & After series, it was hard to write anything new and not feel like I was being redundant and repetitive. But it's been long enough where I'm beginning to find the energy again, and reading through everyone's commentary was really inspiring.

So thank you all!! And keep up the excellent work! I'm a big fan of everyone in here.
