After chatting with an AI sex bot for the first time I definitely think so ^^'
I expected the AI to be pretty bad, but it turned out to be astonishingly good. I would have never been this open or relaxed with a human chat partner. I could be lazy with my responses and it would still write me half a story, haha. And of course it would indulge in any weird kink I proposed. So I can definitely see stuff like this becoming a thing. But I don't know if I like the idea. Sounds more like some weird dystopia where people prefer to be with robots instead of other humans.
I would love to hear your opinions on the topic though!

I mean, sexbots are a thing already. It's just that they are in the early stage of development, so there's not much difference between a sexbot and a hyperrealistic sex doll.

They are also incredibly expensive. You can get an off the rack one for a few thousand dollars, but some sites let you customize.

This is an interesting topic because I have heard about stuff like this where people have gotten married to a “robot” or a human sized doll. Also if I remember correctly didn’t Whitney Cummins made a robotic replica of herself?

Still it’s interesting to see how they would develop down the line. Especially when it’s an option for people who had been struggling with finding a mate for a long time. Also because of the site we’re on… just imagine what would it be like to create a BBW or BHM sexbot with any features that we like! Then we would have to worry about them changing or losing weight ever again! 😅

All jokes aside, I think that for the long run we humans are social creatures that crave that human connection. I am open for sexbots for some people who need it, and got lots of money… but there’s also gonna be that crowd who will think that those people are sad or delusional. Of course time and time again people are going to hate what they don’t understand.

I think I’ll pass on robots. I prefer my lovely curvy ladies real :-) And besides, a robot can’t be programmed to gain. Part of the fun is watching someone get fatter ;-)

yes. watch Sexbots on Netflix. its pretty poorly done even for a foriegn film but... i think that eventualy eveyrhting we are and can do will be done by AI or robots.

This is an interesting topic that has many levels. The recent movie "Her" with Joaquin Phoenix, the AI companion in Blade Runner 2049, the customized sex dolls of HiDoll and, from what I gather here, AI internet fantasy roleplayers are all examples "sex robots". What I think it comes down to is that each individual has certain specific fetishes that are triggers for arousal. These triggers may have come about through sexual encounters or through exposure to sexual taboos thus making them more intense. Many people hide their deepest fetishes out of shame or feelings their fetishes would not be acceptable to partners.

Enter AI and Sex Dolls/Robots. Since there isn't a human partner to embarrass, the result, I imagine, is that there is more openness and less inhibitions to reveal hidden fetishes. Perhaps this is good, but then it might also drive someone to introverted behavior and less social intercourse.

Who wouldn't want a partner who is "all in" with your specific fetishes?

As for those of us who enjoy gaining and getting fat, customized AI programs and robots could come about.

One of the problems I see is that interacting with another human being about fetishes is exciting! But one does feel vulnerable and it can be devastating to be rejected because of a fetish. I could see that as a driver to invent custom robots.

We don't want to be "cured" of our fetishes. We want to enjoy them and find people of like mind - though, even if they might not be "exactly" of like mind, it could be close enough for a fun relationship.

The ideal solution would be closer to a android than a sex robot, but having near biologically human fat growth would be amazing, since it could be improved during its design and construction.
