I'm a bit reluctant to purchase expensive pants due to my chub rub curse.

Just do it, you can always sew patches inside your pants to make them last longer (I do haha) and it's worth it to be comfortable.

Did you sew it on your own or had a seamstress add the patch? I am curious how much it costs to do the latter.
i just did it myself with some patch fabric 🤷‍♀️

Not most embarrassing ever, but I was playing charades at a party recently with some new friends and I stretched my arms up to do an action and a bunch of seams loudly ripped, plus I exposed my belly briefly at the same time... I was beet red but thankfully no one commented.

Halloween 🎃

I love chunky KitKats (lol), but during Halloween getting the mixed Ferrara pack (mostly Laffy taffy, sweet tarts, nerds, etc) bc some of those are so hard to find during the rest of the year!!

Fat habits

I noticed as I've been trying to slow down a little that i have developed several habits that really enabled my gaining, that is making it really hard to slow down! What are some of y'alls fattening/fat-enabling habits? I'll start:

1.) Doubling up on meals - when I was actively gaining I started earing breakfast at home, then going through the drive-thru before work, eating my packed lunch throughout my workday, getting takeout during my break, going to the drive-thru on my way home from work, then having dinner at home.

2.) Never going anywhere without planned places to stop and eat (even picking up tape or pens on my way home, I'll plan for a food stop)

3.) Driving everywhere (even if it's just across the street, or a few shops down in the strip mall, I'll drive instead of walk!)

Foods you most credit for weight gain

Drinking calories 1000%. Especially Starbucks mocha Frappuccinos (which btw you can sub the milk for heavy cream at no extra charge), and iced lattes (again, you can sub in whole milk or heavy cream). During exam season in university I'd always put on extra weight from the sheer amount of caloric caffinated beverages I'd get through. Soda and alcoholic beverages are also really great, mostly because they don't fill you up but pack a caloric punch!

Shirt stretching help?

Wash in cold water, then stretch out the shirt as much as possible and brace it (so it stays stretched out as it dries. Doesn't work on all fabric, but does on some, especially stretch fabric.

No more shoes to tie

I struggle even with half-zip booties in the winter, I'm not that flexible and my fat really gets in the way. It takes putting my foot up on a stool and creative maneuvering for sure! When it isn't snowing/raining I live in birkenstocks because they are slip on, wide and easy!

If you were going to a fa themed halloween party

Either clover from totally spies that one episode they're addicted to cookies and get fat in spandex (hello childhood feedism/bisexual awakening) or just go full classic and do Violet from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when she blows up as a blueberry.

Also it would be so hot if a guy came as Bruce Bogtrotter from Matilda and ate a large chocolate cake while we all watched 😋
