Not fitting in

Though the genre may appear to have narrowed from the old days, it hasn't, though some things become more or less popular.

The fact is, this is a huge genre with many many subgenres and crossovers, and not everything gets expressed in equal measure. BDSM is often popular, both physically as in the nonconsensual stories, and emotionally as in the ones you yourself write. BDSM is another huge genre, and there are a number of people here that are into it as well in some form or another.

Honestly, I like variety. I have come across the full range of material here and elsewhere, and though many stories here end with huge weights or slavery, that is probably because those are the most extreme and least realistic parts of this genre, sans scifi/fantasy. As time has gone on, this genre's peak density has shifted that way, but there are many stories out there that are loving and romantic, contain mild weight gain or none, star characters that are only mildly chubby, or focus just on eating or a fat lifestyle. I used to love Dimensions Magazine for its wider variety, though they recently hid a large portion of their old gallery.

IMHO, a site like this (as a major current hub of the FA community) should contain a wider base, with more stories focused just on eating or focused just on romantic relationships between slightly or moderately overweight people. However, that will require more of such stories being regularly written. XD

Long, drawn out stories

curiousv:
It seems many other people think like you, because my one long story got ten times as much attention that the shorter ones.

Part of that may be that the more chapters you have, the more views you have.

Long, drawn out stories

Just have to preface this by saying that at the very moment as I was thinking of Skittle’s stories, and Cresil, I ran across her post on this thread, lol.

My answer would be long, short, and everything in between. I prefer short and sweet to long and pointless, but I greatly prefer long writing if it’s good. Honestly, and this may sound a little sexist, though I am a guy, I think about erotic stories in terms of female arousal. Story foundation, erotic foundation, then foreplay. Then moments and climaxes that (ideally) gradually build on and develop each other, both as stories, art, and highly erotic fap material, all together. Each climax should set up for and gradually flow into the next, not hurried necessarily, but intentional, and yet also surprising, and, of course, satisfying. But also achieving a new level of tension upon the current resolution. And, ideally (again), each new climax, since it’s built on all the ones previous, should reach similar or greater heights, though not necessarily in every way or at every time. And certainly, there is room for longer and slower development with subclimaxes in between.

Not that any of my stories have every achieved that, lol. But here’s to tomorrow!

Abuse for stories.

Loveafatpiggy:
I wanted to know why people think it ok to write nasty comments. If you hate or think its isn't good just don't wite or even send abuse.

So, just to be clear, the basis for your writing's not bad. I scanned your stories before posting this, and it looks like you put in a lot of time and thought on them. And, relative to a lot of content on this site and in this genre, they really aren't that bad. However, the particular style you have seems to invite a certain amount of abuse. Understand that this really isn't your fault, it is that the flow of your stories, and the very length that makes them impressive, in combination make you look like a troll hunter: someone that writes in a certain way for the explicit purpose of attracting and making fun of negative feedback. imho

Does fit and fat not really do it for you?

There are many different kinds of fitness. Fitness does not simply mean muscles, it may mean just fitter than a total potato. As erotic as pure sloth is as a fantasy, it is dangerous and boring as a reality. Being muscly may be a certain turn-off, but being fit enough to survive an orgasm? Only in the most extreme fantasies is that not a good thing (though in all honesty they can be perversely and disturbingly hot). The truth is, as others here have mentioned, some of the sexiest things about being unfit is having to move around and feel the weight, or to watch your lover become excited as you try to move around and do even normal things. Also, swimming is a seriously erotic form of fat exercise: The body moves, its wet and soft, waves of flesh in waves of water, floating as it belies its weight, moving as it belies its encumberance, and its decent light cardio that doesn't build muscle. Also, having to have help to get out of the pool can be very sexy and embarrassing.

I am a fan of fantasies like those of www.deviantart.com/piritaargenta, or my own for that matter, or even ones like Wicked Stepfather, truly one of the darkest stories out there, but fantasy of any type tends to be limited by words and length, one-dimensional if you will, and so misses the depth of the eroticism of reality. To be fit enough to enjoy your life will not decrease your pleasure at your general unfitness, and the value gained thus will far outweigh any erotic fantasy.

The perfect woman gainer

I've heard that swimming can be extremely important for heavier people as well. While immobility may be an erotic fantasy, it is a very dangerous reality when our biology is built around moving, blood, muscle, changing position, etc.
