Fat admiration: preference or fetish?

Its a preference. Every so often I do see a skinny woman I fancy - I used to have a terrible crush on Winona Ryder.

Keeping her gaining

'She wanted to be everything I want.'

You see, this is terrifying. If she succumbs to your aesthetic ideals all in in a bid to make you happy then where does it leave her in the unfortunate case of a break up? In a body that doesn't make her happy - In a body that only makes her ex happy. And for that I imagine it will be all the more infuriating.

It is a mistake to try and make someone else happy - certainly at the cost of your own health.

My advice: enjoy her for what she is and don't try to make her your weight gain project.

For a community all about acceptance it sure is transphobic

It will end up with an xx chromosome or xy chromosome classification in some places.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Is this regarding the forum in general or is it something said on the dating and personal messaging side?

(I've just checked your picture, you have nice messages!)

If you go from Germany to Italy, then you must stop in Slovenia. Look it up, it's worth to spend a few days here. It's a very beautiful country which despite that it's small, has everything from mountains (Trenta, Soca river), lakes (Bled lake), caves (Postojna, Skocijanske), seaside (Piran) and a beautiful capital (Ljubljana).

Edit: I forgot to mention the food. Cevapcici, burek, blejske kremsnite, krajnska klobasa. Awesome stuff. smiley

I wish I went here too. It looks so beautiful!

and besides who is selfish enough to only support a movement if it helps them PERSONALLY ?

Agreed. By creating a more equal society we all benefit.

I think a lot of men feel threatened by female empowerment. This is a faulty conclusion based on the logic: if women gain power then men must lose power. This, of course, is false. If you have liberty and then your neighbour gains liberty it doesn't make you less free. Thus, when a woman is empowered a man is not stripped of his.

People often mistake feminism with misandry. The only way to solve this is to educate people what feminism is.

Aspergers or autism people.

There is a fantastic novel about autistic people called The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. Its hilarious and informative (I knew little about autism before hand).

Be sure to visit Florence, aesthetically the worlds prettiest city. Also, if you care for good food be sure to visit Naples.

As for Germany, Munich is a great city though there aren't many must see sites it just has a laid back vibe. Plus its an hour on the train from the alps, if that interests you at all.

UK, where I hail from, I would recommend London (of course) Edinburgh and the highlands.

Also, consider checking out the Czech Republic and Croatia. Croatia I cant recommend enough, its the hidden gem of Europe. Beautiful, sunny and cheap.

Bouncing back after bad dates

The most important thing is that you have plenty in common. Don't meet with someone because they are hot. There are so many pretty faces but the novelty of beauty wears thin really quickly. Meet people you really enjoy chatting to online and when you meet you'll have a great time. Worst case scenario you make a friend, best case scenario you find the perfect match!

I've been on dates with conventionally very beautiful women and its just no fun if you have nothing in common.

I'm a feminist

Perhaps instead of making this personal, after all it is rather bizarre to bicker with strangers online over the semantics of feminism, we should all take a step back.

Clearly feminism is a touchy subject for some of you and that it fine. What would be great is if the people criticising feminism could criticise, and please be specific, what you disagree with, and then we can discuss it.

I'm sure we agree on more matters than what we disagree on.

I can recommended two modern and accessible books on feminism if you want to understand the subject better:

Living Dolls by Natasha Walters
How to be Woman by Caitlin Moran
