Morbidly A Beast:
over the winter I gained like 60 pounds and I went to do what I normally do in the spring and I could barely walk up a slight incline without stopping and trying to catch my breath while whizzing, low key kinda scary so I started doing some walking around the block feeling a lot better now 3 months hills aren’t so bad now I even managed to walk an entire property without stopping!
Walking really is such a game changer. I fell off the walking wagon when I did a speed gain over about 5 weeks, and I'm getting back to it and feel better already.

Bigboysdoitbetter:I do! I think it’s fun! And That’s mainly what I do bc of how “picky” I can be lol any eating out is usually only because of work we’ve had short staff so 11 hour days woohoo
Munchies:There's a lot you can do. Pot roast, slow cooker meals, stir fry, pasta and rice dishes, etc etc.
One of my fave things to do is pick a random culture and look up easy recipies. You can find a lot of good, healthy foods that way. Then just add things like sauces, cheese, or butter and eat bigger portions.
Bigboysdoitbetter:That’s actually a really fun way to mix it up I think I’m gonna do that! Thank you for all the recommendations your always really knowledgeable
Munchies:I appreciate that.
I'm also just someone that likes to cook and have fun in the kitchen. Been cooking for 20 years at this point.
Cooking is a hobby of mine as well (entirely unrelated to the fetish). Thai and Indonesian cuisine can lend itself quite well to clean eating too.

Things I've broken / destroyed:
- barstool in my own kitchen
- dining room chair at my soon-to-be in-laws
- pool float
- Adirondack chair at a VRBO
- numerous toilet seats
- shower chair
- mechanism in the passenger seat of my old car
- a hotel mattress
- a conference room chair
- 2 restaurant chairs
- 2 scales
- a grocery store mobility scooter
At this size, where I go is very much determined by the seating available, since some of this destruction happened publicly.
Op User:
How do you break a mattress - do you mean a bed frame?
This was a spring mattress, and I hadn't even slept on it yet. I was sitting on the side attempting to dress for a wedding, and I was struggling a bit, so I was kind of trying to "wiggle" my way into my dress. I both heard two noises and felt something give way. There was a distinct sag in the side of the mattress itself that never fluffed back up. I slept on the opposite side that night without incident, and I never had any issues with the hotel trying to bill me for it. I'm still not sure what exactly happened to it though.
I do know of one obese person who had a hospital stay and was placed in a regular bed instead of a bariatric one. His weight crushed whatever mechanisms help the bed redistribute pressure and left it with a sunken area. They had to switch it out for one that could support him.

When actively gaining, a lot of processed food finds it's way into my diet, but day to day, I enjoy whole foods too. Do you enjoy big colorful salads? I make them often with protein like grilled chicken or shrimp, feta cheese, chick peas, etc. Nut butters with raw vegetables are good too if allergies aren't a concern.

If I *had* to lose weight or risk death, could I? Sure. I don't believe that even I, a nearly 600 pound woman, have hit some level of obesity that renders me powerless to change it.
That said, only a medically necessary situation would make me lose weight at this point. I'm very happy with my body, belly size, and life-style, and ALL of this weight was either directly intentional or the result of stretching my stomach out so much in a gaining spurt, it was hard to stop. While I may need to lose a little to fit into my wedding dress, bought 55 pounds ago, it will be as small a loss as possible. I don't foresee ever wanting to drop below 525. That's when I became truly satisfied with the look and feel of my obese body.

Sooo many reasons why I'm fat. The biggest one is that it's intentional!
1) I have cultivated and "built" an obese body I'm comfortable in.
2) I absolutely love the feeling of a belly stretched way beyond capacity and fit to burst with food and drink.
3) I enjoy food, and when I eat, gluttony kicks in and I want to keep going because I enjoy the taste.
4) My favorite physical feature is my belly because of its round shape, and I've enjoyed watching it grow and retain that shape. I also enjoy feeling it bulge when I'm stuffed.
5) I always wanted a 100 inch waistline and, for much of my gain, was striving to get there. Now I've exceeded it, which I consider a point of pride.
6) Outside of my walks, which I do enjoy, it's my natural inclination to be sedentary.
7) I have a natural tendency to gain weight easily.
8) I find my own obesity to be a turn on, particularly belly play, and my belly is more sensitive to the touch when very full.
9) The foods I enjoy most tend to be highly caloric (I LOVE carbs).
10) I've grown more self-confident the more obese I've gotten, versus the short time I was under 200 pounds.
I'm sure there are other reasons, but these carry the most weight. (Pun intended. I'll see myself out. 🤣 )

I despise this movie. My fiance and I hate the assumptions it could lead people to make about our relationship, which is a consenting, completely loving partnership. We've already faced people who assume I'm fat for him. I'm not. I'm fat for me, and I was obese long before he was in the picture. He just happens to love my body as much as I do.
My point is, the movie implies that fat is so disgusting and abhorrent, no one would voluntarily choose it without being a prisoner. Not true at all.

Go4theGold:
I can't give any recommendations, but I'm curious about how cities where one doesn't need a car (NYC, San Francisco, Boston, ETC) are when it comes to feedism, since one will be walking a lot in those places, and will thus burn more calories.
Munchies:
You are thinking too small. Walkability is actually good for feedism.
If you can easily walk to your favorite food spots, you'll go there more. Plus any money you save on car expenses can go towards food expenses.
On top of all that, walking helps digestion and can work up an appetite. Any calories you burn will mean nothing compared to how many you'll eat.
I once gained 9 pounds in 3 days in NYC!
